This is a deck I've had for about 8 years and I recently decided to modify it to make it a little faster and more reliable, more importantly. I decided to add in some dual lands and take out the basic land and cards like rampant growth, journey to discovery, etc. The basic idea of the deck is to cast Last Stand and have cool creatures like Cromat as backup. Its a pretty simple deck and was one of the first I made back when I started playing; this is casual afterall.  Very Happy

Anyway please feel free to comment on cards I can add or take out, etc. the dual lands I'm using all have green in them except Volcanic Island that I just tossed in there because I'm sick of not using them.  Wink

Here is a proposed updated list so far. But its only at 54ish cards, so I need to fill it more:

Artifacts:
2 Panoptic Mirror
1 Feldon's Cane
1 Mirari
1 Lotus Petal
1 Sol Ring
1 Mox Diamond

Blue:
4 Collective Restraint
2 Flusterstorm
2 Spell Pierce
Maybe 2 Mental Misstep
(I still have to see what I have available at home in terms of counterspells. I suppose I could use Counterspell, but the {U} {U} worries me)

Black:
1 Demonic Tutor

Green:
1 Primordial Hydra
2 Reclaim
3 Revive
2 Creeping Mold
2 Naturalize

Red:
2 Desolation Giant

Gold:
2 Cromat
4 Last Stand
1 Progenitus

Land:
4 Misty Rainforest
3 Savannah
3 Taiga
3 Tropical Island
3 Bayou
Maybe 3 Volcanic Island (I have them and currently don't use them much)

If you want to see the list with links to the cards my forum below has the newest deck version posted at the end of the 2nd page of the thread.

Evasive Action is the counterspell you're looking for.

Also, try looking up the keyword DOMAIN in a card search. Looks like they've retroactively added it to cards from before Alara block, so it should be pretty thorough.

I suppose it's mostly the thought that this format is just one big Mistake; and not even a very sophisticated one at that.
Much like humanity itself.

Much appreciated; how could I forget about Evasive Action?!?!
