Grudge Match Bingo is here again! To refresh everyone's memory: Why not? I enjoy giving out prizes as much as the next guy. Grudge Match Bingo is back. Evan Hundertmark won himself free entry into the Grudge Match II by winning the first Grudge Match Bingo; Mike Egan won free entry into Grudge Match III! So who’s going to take down the third one? You start with a five by five grid like so Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Player Name | Then you simply fill in names of 25 type one magic players expecting to play at the upcoming New England/New York/Philly Grudge Match in Cherry Hill TOMORROW. Discuss your choices and strategies here, and, of course, post your bingo boards. I’ll accept submissions up until Noon tomorrow (due to the last minute-ness of this contest). After that, I’m going to ask one of the mods to lock the thread, so that all the answers will be finalized. To quote DA again: You can mark off on your "Grudge Match Bingo" board every player who makes top 16. The person who makes the most bingos (four corners, row, column, diagonal) on their board will receive free entry into the next Grudge Match tournament or, if there is no feasible way for the winner to attend because of extreme geographic inconvenience (and that will be relatively strict), a smaller prize will be mailed to them. In the event of a tie for the most bingos, the winner will be the person with the most overall correct guesses. The last tiebreaker will be placement of those players (for example correctly guessing the winner will hold more weight then guessing the second place finisher and so on). If placement doesn't break ties (i.e. two people posted the same grid), then the final tiebreaker will favor whoever posted first. Take your best shot at winning free entry into the Grudge Match IV! Best of luck to all! Winner of this edition of Grudge Match Bingo wins free entry to the next Grudge Match sometime in the next three months. Good luck, everybody.

In the announcement thread, you said you are unsure of the previous bingo winner. I guess the list of the top 16 was lost. Based on just the top 8 though, Bauer and I both have three correct guesses. http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?topic=43915.0I don't really need more incentive to go, but free entry couldn't hurt .

I'm going to talk to Coss to see if he knows who won. I know that Egan was on a run, but I don't think he won this one.

Here is my card. It is like Mike Bauer's card but with all the bad players replaced with Mike Hajduk.

I was once asked on MWS, what the highest I ever finished at a TMD Open was. I replied, "I've never played in a Waterbury. I was then called "A TOTAL NOOB!"

Shawn Griffiths Tom Dixon Raf Forino Josh Butker John Geras Josh Potucek Scott Hughes JP Kohler Allen Fulmer Ray Robilliard Matt Elias Mike Hajduk Tom Dixon Chris Varosky John Jones Ryan Glackin Brian Carey Visna Harris Allen Fulmer Mike Egan Paul Mastriano Mark Hornung Vito Picozzo Anthony Scalzo Brienne Pope No idea who'se going to this thin, or why they'd treck all the way up to Long island to do it lol, but here's my best guess. Good luck everyone! Generally people who are able to drive to (or play in) tournaments do so because they enjoy playing in them. Subtle slights at TO's or venues (like the one that you have taken) would fall under Section III, subsection 2 of the TMD Rules and Regulations:
III. Inflammatory Posting
Purpose: Interpersonal attacks, incendiary comments, and other hostile or antagonistic posts make it very difficult for other users to enjoy their time on this site and make contributions. Specific examples of posts which violate this rule include:
2. Baiting. (Posts intended to antagonize other users or instigate conflict.)
While you are a member of TMD you will be expected to adhere to TMD's site rules. Further posts on your part that do not adhere to TMD site rules will receive moderation on the part of the staff. Consider this a warning.

I sincerley apologize if my comment was taken in a negative light. I was merley refering to the fact that Long Island is a rather long drive for anyone except those on Long Island. I am sure it will be a lovely tournament as have all the Long Island tournaments. If I in some way offended anyone I did not mean to, my comment was in reference to long driving distance not anyone in specific. Again good luck to all those playing Saturday!

Clearly he meant you were baiting me by listing me twice on your bingo card.

Yukon Cornelius and Madpeep both had half of the top 16, though neither had a bingo. After the tiebreakers Madpeep has won free entry to the next Grudge Match! Congrats, Scott!
