I wanted to try and figure out the bare bones minimum for a traditional blue based control list after the unrestriction of Burning wish.  Basically in my opinion every single blue deck should start with this base of cards and then build out from there.

Main deck (39):
Mana sources (24):
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Sol Ring
1 Black Lotus
1 Lotus Petal
15 lands

Blue staples (4):
1 Hurkyl's Recall
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Brainstorm
1 Time Walk

From here you would need to choose what extra blue staples you want, choose extra colors, choose a draw engine, and then filling out the rest of the 60 with a specific shell

This deck is focused on getting a robot out and getting it quickly.  Intuition/AK engine lets me use intuition to grab a welder or dump artifacts in my graveyard.  The two intuition packages outside of pure welder and pure AK are Time Vault/Key/Other card or Wurmcoil Engine/Myr Battlesphere/Other card.  The single underground sea allows me to play a sideboard yawg will and sideboard dredge hate.

The focus here is to drop a show and tell into a Bargain as soon as possible and then use that bargain to draw/tutor into show and tell omniscience and win from there.  It pretty consistently turn 2's a Show and Tell into bargain.  Tinker and a gush storm package allow for alternate win cons.

This is an adaptation of the deck that won worlds basically cut yawg will, tinker, and 2 other main deck cards from the main deck and 2 sideboard cards in order to play Burning wish.

I hope this can ignite a discussion on the optimal deck to capitalize on the unrestriction of burning wish.
