So Phyrexian Metamorph (and, by extention, Forgemaster), just got a huge power decrease against Griselbrand with the new legend rules...

Haha!  Indeed.   My Burning Tendrils deck got better in many respects with these rules changes.  Mox Opals are better.  Grisel is better.

 And, perhaps best of all, forgetting to de-sideboard after Wishing won't be a game loss Wink  If you forget to remove some Wished-for cards, you'll still have a legal deck Wink

Because GI was such a harsh critic of this deck last year, I thought I'd quote his post from a related thread:


FWIW, I admit I totally underestimated the combined design elements of Wish along with Oath and better expansion in the new Long lists.  Burning Wish really allows them to dodge traditional hate while employing lots of lines of play.

I appreciate the fact that you admit this now.  Smile  Better late than never, I suppose.
