Wow, that's amazing - unfortunately, I will be out of the state for the holidays.   But I will be sure to mention this on twitter.

Glad to hear we have more Vintage in the bay!

Christmas Eve? Really?

I'm glad you guys put at least something together again, and I will do my best to be there, but I can't promise anything.

EDIT: Just noticed the Legacy events have 10 proxies. I can build 1 really solid Legacy deck with 0 proxies, but 10 proxies might mean I don't have to drag Seat of the Synod to every Legacy event I go to! I might be able to make some of these. Smile

Just moved to Oakland. I really should check TMD more. I have to work this Sunday. I'd rather not call in (could cause some issues, as I'm brand new to the job). Any idea how many people will show up? I'd feel like an idiot calling in for a 6 man event.

I'm planning to attend (about 90% sure I'll make it). I'm also trying to drag my brother who's been out of the games for years. B.C. told me last night he was 80% sure he was coming.

Looks like BC and I are in for sure.  Smile

Now to build a suitable deck...

I guess I could just play Dredge. That seemed to work last time.  Wink

we knew going into this, that that might be the case, as Eudo put up Vintage tourney 2 days before Xmas. But there are at least 3 people hardcore enough to give up sunday in berkely to show support

Next Vacaville tourney should be Jan 19, once BC gets off his ass and posts it. I would, but that would undermine his ShotCallerNess at  picking dates for Vintage, even though LOTUSHEAD is synonimous with VACAVILLE VINTAGE.

Jan 19. 1 week before gatecrash pre-release.  That's the plan at least.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out. It was a pretty bad weekend to pick for a good turnout though Sad

Looking forward to the next one in Vacaville! I'll definitely be there. Eudo events would be great, if they were scheduled better...

I'm sorry that I wasn't there. There was no reasonable way for me to get out of work. I'll be at Vacaville though.

I live right in Oakland now. I'd be happy to organize a tournament at Eudemonia (if they let me). I can definitely talk to them and try to figure something out. I'm sure Steve would be down with the cause.

I was also disappointed to learn that my store credit at Eudo had completely disappeared.  One of the last times I was there I split the finals of a Mox tournament with Gambit.  I didn't spend very much of my credit at the time because their collection of singles was pretty poor (fyi, it's pretty awesome now).  I had at least $60-80 in credit that I was looking forward to spending, but they couldn't even find me in their system.  Bad form, Eudo.

For sure.  I was going to give them a call, but by all means it helps to hear from multiple voices.  Go for it.

Dean,

Is there any plans to host either Legacy or Vintage back at Eudemonia?  I'd be happy to stop by and talk with you or anyone about it in person, if that would be helpful.

BC:  We transitioned to a new system for tracking store credit.  There is a good chance your store credit can still be pulled up in the old system.  Shoot me an email:  info at eudemonia net.  If I cant find it, we'll work something out.  I apologize for the inconvenience.  If there was something you wanted to buy, keep in mind that we ship free over $25 now, so you do not have to be in the store to use your credit.

Stephen and Mike have contacted me about setting things up.  We'll work out some dates and hopefully get a better date for this event.

One thing that would be helpful to know from players is whether Saturday or Sunday tournemnts work best.    If we can get some dates, I'll start a poll to see what bay area players think.

Sundays work best for me for tournies in the bay area. Saturdays work for me, but I work till noon usually, so 1pm starts technically doable.
