Hey Scott.

Thanks for posting some lists.

I went to this event.  It was a lot of fun.  I was happy to see that it was unlimited proxy.   It looked like most of the people there took advantage of this, and the event probably wasn't  possible without unlimited proxy.  During my first round with Eric, store employee (iirc), I asked him if Jason was going to do more Vintage tournaments and he said that we might do monthly events again.  That would be just swell.

Totally blind to the metagame, I played a pretty typical Martello list.  I forced my brother to do the same.  My friend Doug, who had never been to a Vintage tournament before played Tyrant Oath (was actually 1 tyrant, 1 griselbrand, 1 BSC) and had a blast.  The three of us all went 3-2.

My brother made top 8 on tiebreakers, which was nice.  My parting words as we got to the store were "side out chalice versus Dredge."   Sure enough, game 2 of the top 8 he drops Chalice for 1 then proceeds to draw Grafdiggers on the next turn.  >.<  Oh well.

Jeff,
Thank you so much for replying and helping correct the metagame breakdown.  I was trying to remember the decks from memory so I am not surprised a missed one.    I had a ton of fun at the event and it was great to see so many people from out of town and hopefully with such a great turnout, Jason will decide to do this monthly because I love vintage and it is always a good time for sure.  I also think that the difference was that the event was posted on TMD, whereas the last couple of vintage events were not, so hopefully lesson learned.
