Come out and play some vintage in central PAWhen: saturday feb. 9th start time is gonna be 12p for registration. play begins 1p host: Calvin Hodges(Calvin240sx) and MVP Sports and Gamesformat: unsanctioned vintage(duh!) please have a decklist where: MVP Sports and Games 50 Redwood Dr. Lancaster, PA 17601 717-435-4964(shop) 717-419-4572(calvin) entry fee: $30(10 card prox. 5 free, 2nd 5 $1 each) Prizing t8 with 16 players:1st: ancestral recall 2:bazaar or baghdad 3: blue dual/judge promo(s) 4: foil fetch/judge promo(s) 5-8: $50 store credit *should i manage to hit 25+ i will randomly pull a judge promo out of a stack of them and give one away in between the swiss rounds. This will be the first of many vintage events run monthly at this location. it will ALWAYS be the 2nd wknd of the month come hell or high water. It's a large shop in a great location close to food and bars(if you're into that kind of thing  ). We have a VERY large selection of singles and specialize in stocking eternal cards. Most importantly just come out and play some vintage. I work nites and i'm always available to answer any ?'s. Looking forward to seeing you guys come out. Cheers, Cal

Prox limit is tight. Admittedly so. Most of us can do 10 limit. The $5 extra is going to prizing which I'm fairly certain is a bit above the norm. Had idea to say $35 with 10 prox but if u got the cards why do it? I just wanna get the local scene to expand. Turn it into something huge in the future. My aggressive(least I think) payouts will reflect that. Anyone that has been to my modern/legacy events knows I put all the $$$ from entry back into the pool. Ur not happy with $35 for the payout.......I dunno what else u want bro? Hope to see ya in person though. Sorry for the rant. No offense sir.

I can't wait to come down and support this tourney! the goal is to be different just a bit. i'm pretty settled on the 2nd house deck but i'm open to input as i only hgot a week to the event. i'd hate for anyone to not play bc of not having a deck or a few cards. seems stupid to me. cheers, cal |

not entirely sure i wanna give that out just yet. not being a jerk or anything but don't want this thing hated out b4 it sees daylight. i will say it has done very well in past events. the 2nd house deck will be a homebrew of sorts. or maybe i just audible it to something someone suggests. i got lotsa stock to build with. i'm all ears if u have something you'd like to see or that's a brew u been working on that's kinda spicy. i want this to be purely player focused events. dig? cheers, cal |
