We have an inordinate amount of spambots that try to register for this site every week, and it makes sorting through real accounts and spambots difficult at times.  I have heard that there are many people who have tried to create accounts on TMD, but haven't been able to.  If you know of anyone who has had this problem, fire off a PM to me and I can create their account.

I will need:

First/Last Name
Email Address
Desired Username

You should consider creating a registration-specific email address for requests from outside users, such as registertmd@gmail.com or something else, and then add it to your post above. Not everybody who wants to join this site necessarily knows people here.

Gaining access to these boards is simple; you're able to register for TMD on the home page.  If you have any problems with registration, you can contact a staff member by emailing us at ManaDrain2012@gmail.com.

We've had a few emails here and there, but I know that there are people slipping through the cracks.

You probably have considered this, but I want to suggest it anyway. Have you tried a Captcha during registration to weed out spam bot attempts? I wouldn't mind assisting with anything, but I am sure you have it handled. Also, this probably isn't the right spot to mention this, but have you considered adding card tags for linking to make it easier to read a decklist? Thank you for registering me and if I can be of any help to you or the community going forward, I gladly will be. Smile

Thank you very much for your offers of help, it is appreciated.

Much of what the staff is able to do is restricted by our lack of access to the server.  We are unable to change many of the things that we'd like to change, and are left tinkering around the edges instead of making fundamental changes to the site.

There is a captcha available, and we used it for a while, but it got overwhelmed in the end.

We've had card links before, but they were disabled at some point. As Prospero says, we don't have access to the server, so are limited in our options at this stage.
