Preface:
With twenty two players attending, the this past weekend’s tournament played out with five rounds, with a cut to top eight. Payout was the full two thousand dollars worth of prizes. The metagame was fairly polarized, with two pillars fully recognized and two others with a single entry. Dark Ritual was simply not on the menu this week, which was apparently pretty good foresight on behalf of the players, as we’ll soon see. Despite the lack of diversity in deck cores, the decks themselves were much more diverse, and the playoffs were marked with eight unique takes on the two major players.

Thanks go out to Nick for another great day of cards. I really feel bad for all of y'all that did not make it out. Nick once again went above and beyond in every aspect . Get to the next one!
PROPS: Joe, Rob and the rest of the top. Nick Coss for being more then a "God King". He is now Nick " The legendary immortal of greatness" Coss.
SLOPS: When your best friend's girlfriend goes past the drunkin mess stage. Which results in you getting less then 3 hours of sleep.

It did work for him, though the match was decided by multiple LSG's and a Factory iirc.

Versus Seth and Justin, Rig was a vanilla 4/5 beater for . It was not instrumental in either victory, but it was definitely helpful.

Correct. NO Time Walk. It's not that Time Walk and I are currently fighting or anything but we are taking a break to try other things. I realize that it does seem awesome to get multiple activations out of the planeswalkers or draw additional cards with bob. Even additional Welder activations can be devastating. I have always viewed Time Walk strictly as a value card and side it out quite often. Hell I don't even win by taking an extra turn after a Tinker. If I'm going to be taking an extra turn, I want to take all the turns thereafter. I wanted to try another blue value card via Intuition and boy did it deliver all day. It has so much more synergy with this deck and its basically a instant speed Demonic Tutor with goblin welders out. Wanted to thank the Great and Powerful Nick Coss for having an amazing event. Props: Rob Edwards' Mana Crypt for dealing 21 damage to him Shawn Grifiths' gang related ink Joel for coming out despite feeling close to death The entire Chilli's crew for not getting kicked out Joe Brown's modelesque hair Slops: Shawn Tappen for not winning a single match Geist of St. Traft for continuing to haunt me in yet another format Mike Noble for not even being there Only 21 people showing up to this INSANE event

@ Intuition vs Time Walk. Mark and I had a great round 1 match . I was on Martello. In one of the games we played I had turned the game in my favor. Mark windmill slammed a EOT intuition with a satanic grin! Not really he casted it like a gentle little lamb. With a welder in play it put the win % at 100% for Mark. Great games man!
@ Mark. Damn your giant overly tanned rooster tokens.

This is kind of an unfair Slops. I mean...he's a ghost. Haunting is kind of his schtick.
