Thanks to Shawn for always getting these reports out quickly for those of us who couldn't attend.
Rob E: Is the 4th Revoker to help fight Jace and trade with Fish guys?
Rob M: How was Voice in a Shardless Fish deck? I thought it could have a home there with a control heavy metagame. Also, I've often run into trouble with too many situational instants (Fstorm, Hurks, etc.) during cascades that I've tried to use permanent answers to go with Shardless Agent. Did you have any trouble with this?
Hope to see you all soon!

Revoker is good against activated abilities, which is almost every deck. Doomsday and Dredge are barely hit by Revoker. Jace is a punk. I don't care about that guy.
I'll answer for the other Rob. Shardless Agent -> Voice was a house for Rob in testing and in the tournament. Instants were too clunky with SA.
@Shawn - First took $180 and second took $120.

A.1 is just salty because he thought Jace was going to be a non-factor in Vintage. No mountains, but U/W Bomberman isn't exactly Red Deck Wins, either... :-p

After playing UW Bomberman or "Kohler Deck Wins" as I call it, and going a awesome 0-3 then getting a bye, I must say, I can't play that deck, haha. I guess I'm just going to stick with Dredge.

Care to give a quick run down of what you played and how the games went?

Round 1 Glakin on Terra Nova: Game 1 He wins the die roll, goes turn 1 Shop Mox Trinisphere I go Misty Pass He then goes Shop Lodestone I go Misty Pass He Metamorphs his Lodestone
Game 2 I go Island Peral Pass He tries for a turn 1 SoR I Sabotage I draw and pass, no mana source He plays Revoker, I in resp tap Pearl for white, he names Pearl I Swords his Revoker Draw, no mana source He Strips Island, plays Revoker on Pearl I draw No mana rest of game
Round 2 Kohler on Humans: Game 1 I end up using 3 Jaces but they die to his high density of UNCOUNTERABLE dudes, while all I draw is counters. Game 2 goes the same way, except I get a little bit more action getting a Salvagers into play and trying to do some fancy things with EE.
Round 3 Martello Game 1 I win with Jace's Ultimate Game 2 I lose to Wurmcoil Engine being Metamorphed. Game 3 I lose to Wurmcoil with a Chalice at 1 and Swords in hand

Fair enough. G2 against Glackin you made some decisions that put you into a tough spot. I'd likely have let the Sphere hit with the intention of countering a physical threat. I also probably mulligan a 1 land 1 mox hand against Terra Nova if I have no way to draw extra cards, IE Ancestral or Brainstorm. I haven't tested against the newer Humans list so can't comment. Strange to see Wurmcoil Engine's in Martello but they need shouldn't be too problematic as your hate outside of Witness/Disenchant solves him equally well. What happened to have Wurmcoil's in play? Seems like you hit some bad luck.

The 8th place dredge deck that transforms into Doomsday lab man looks interesting. I haven't seen that before. How well does that transformation sideboard work?
4th* place since this was sadly only a 14 man tournament. More people need to come out to these! I think it works pretty well. I was 3-0 in the swiss drew into top 4, where I was blown out by miser rakdos charm game 1 and then game 2 by first turn cage into early vault/key with misstep and force back up. Have you tried Dark Depths SB? Does Doomsday work better?
In my opinion a 1 card combo > 2 card combo unless there is a significant power difference. Both Divining witch and doomsday are 1 card combos on par with the dark depths/hexmage power level. The only game I saw doomsday specifically in this tournament I would've been playing directly into a force of will, that I saw after using therapy. By him playing around my doomsday though I was able to dredge post board for enough value to kill him. In my testing it played very well. Did you always get for Doomsday? Urborg all but guarantees that I hit BBB. On top of that pretty much every non bazaar land taps for black on its own.
