Thank you TDG for another great event! My list is slightly off. As baller as it would have been, I did not play 2 Steel Sabotage in a Workshop shell. Those 2 were Steel Hellkites. ^_^

I wanted to see how some other pilots would have handled a line of play that occurred during one of my matches. See Vintage Deck Discussion/Workshop-Based Prison thread for the question.

Thanks to Nick and company for a good day of cardboard slinging.  I ended up 2 and 4 after a 2 and 0 start. I had some great games with Nick D and Raf , So I can't complain much.

@ Nick D and Raf thanks for the education.  PRICELESS!

PROPS to Tom on the victory.  Beep, boop, beep. Props to the rest of the top.

Any day that I am able to play Vintage at Nick Coss's with this fine community is a great day.  I did poorly, but am very happy for the top 8 and Tom Dixon.  Thanks to my opponents for taking the time to discuss some play and card choices and for Raf sharing his NY Giants woes with me.  As a Steeler fan, it almost felt as if we were sharing a good cry!

Haha Fenton definitely Beep Beep Booped me for my only loss on the day, but that's what FentonBot 9000's do.

Thanks John. Our round 1 match was pretty interesting as both of us played cards similar to the others normal wheelhouse.

Congrats to everyone who showed up to this Nick Coss party. Was awesome to have a big event again full of the awesome people that this community is known for.

On Tom Dixon's Keeper list he is running Tinker but no big robot target.  Aside from assembling Vault / Key would it just used as a situational support tutor?  What are the typical win cons for the deck?

Metamorph was my "Robot" target. I also frequently Tinker for Crucible of Worlds. I even used Tezz to -3 for Crucible putting my opponent on Abrupt Decay. After taking away his ability to cast said spell and rebuilding Tezz's loyalty I acquired said Vault. In our metagame Tinker Robot became a liability because of how powerful the play was. Everyone was geared to fight BSC or even Battlesphere that we eschewed the plan. I don't think that this will be the case for champs because the masses seem to refuse to adapt to the obvious and thus would suggest anyone looking to play this deck to replace the Metamorph with BSC.

Commonly I win the game with my opponents having little to no permanents on the board and cursing my resource denial plan. My personal favorite is Gorilla Shaman attacking 20 times without TV K. Deathrite Shaman adds a new winning element, as it is essentially a one mana Planeswalker. It gives you reach, sustainability, and resource advantage/denial. It's pretty much everything Keeper could want. AND it makes rainbow mana.

It beats Cavern of Souls, Long, Counter wars(lol @ flusterstorm), and is a great way to stop Mishra from having busted turn 1's. I've always played this card in keeper to great success.

It turns out, that MIndbreak Trap can also be hard cast for 4!
