Hey, does anyone know when SCG took down their forums? They weren't good for much, but I wanted to see the old pimp thread so I could look at Roland's Trinisphere alters but I couldn't go to forums.starcitygames.com anymore and there was no link on the website for the forum. Does anyone know when SCG took the boards down and if there are any archives of the old pimp threads, they were really epic, especially considering how much more everything is worth now.

It was taken down over a year ago. Sigh.  SCG's General Discussion thread was one of my outlets to talk about stuff.

They shifted to a merge between various social media outlets (FB, Twitter, etc), and abandoned the Forums.

The honest truth is that forums in general have become very outdated with the other outlets available.   Not for sure it's better or worse, but a lot of companies/bands/etc are going that way as well.

I didn't know they've been gone for over a year, I thought I had been on there more recently than that. I understand that they were outdated and the overall content on a whole far below TMD, but they could have archived some of the threads. I liked just being able to see some of the awesome looking cards and feeling the excitement that some people had when they had just gotten something new.

well ONE of these days when I actually have time, I'll update the PIMP Thread here on TMD with some sick pick-ups.

Maybe I'll build like my favorite 5 decks in fully Japanese.  IDK.

That sounds lovely. I'm going to post all of my Japanese Stax stuff when I finally finish getting everything in Japanese. I think in total I need about 30 cards altogether.

It's been dead with no one posting for about a year, but they pulled the plug about 1-2 months ago.
