Lol, everytime it untaps you are casting a stp without the life winning (the exiled creature could be from the opponent as it states)? 4cc is a big amount, but this card can be a pain against anything that does not has haste.

I cannot see any current deck that features it, but even as a sideboard card, or with pain seer and tap/untap tricks...

Added pic.

This card is nowhere close to Vintage playable.

You either need spot removal or sweeper. This is spot removal in the sweeper slot.

If it was a 5/5 you could think about running it as a finisher with added bonus.  As is it this is garbage that dies to bolt and can't positively block a lodestone.  I would rather play damnation before this.

Provides a good alternative to King Suleiman as the effect isn't limited to Djinn's and Efreets

I run him for the art. Can't beat a bearded guy on a throne.

This Kird Ape speaks the truth.

I did laugh when I saw this card, though.  Wasn't there a joke thread here on TheManaDrain about making Born of the Gods not awful that also used the King Midas character as the basis for a card that made Gold tokens?  It's too bad Wizards didn't read the thread before they made this King of Poop.

Here's the fundamental thing about The Turd Emperor: if you really need to kill enemy creatures, then that means he can't attack because he'll get blocked by the creature you need to kill.  You can certainly dedicate space in your deck to combing with the King (unblockable effects, tap and untap effects), but in Vintage/Legacy/Modern a combo including a 4cc card that does not win the game seems below the curve.  On top of all of that, he won't be killing anything in Vintage until turn 3 or 4, and that's too late to make a difference.

In standard, it might be that you see him in certain control decks, though.  If they have one massive dude who can't win the game in a single swing, but no other blockers, then the Toilet Lord at least prevents you from being attacked. (if they did attack, you could swing with King and then kill the enemy's bomb).  Other than that....?  Just another Vintage thread that probably wasn't necessary Smile
