Two weekends ago the Vintage "El Barbas" October tournament was held in Barakaldo, a town in the Basque Country. 16 players attended to enjoy a great day of Vintage. This tournaments have a 75 proxy policy, so full powered competitive decks are the norm. This post wil be updated as new content is published in Win&In.

Hi Methuselahn. Yes, that surely was an overstatement. Maybe the term I was looking for was powered decks since with proxies players dont have constraints.

Thanks for the comment!

Hu, pod, that's an interesting one...

Has anyone tried running Pod in shops? It is an artifact and they can have creatures going from 2-8 mana without missing a slot which isn't bad, but it does cost a lot of life and they're already paying enough to tomb an such.

It's come up before. The loss of life is relevant, and it is affected by all the prison pieces. Metalworker typically does a better job of cheating things into play than Pod.

I have tried green shops ... it's a nice alternative to metalworker and requires m0@r karn ... Rage Extractor shops showed way more promise. Nothing says I hate you like casting a Slash Panther triggering a Lava Axe to their face then scratching the wound for another 4.
