Congrats to the Top 8, and especially to Brian, my round one loss. Hopefully next month I'll be more lucky. Thank you Shawn for hosting another great event!

Well, this was certainly a cheesy path to the finals (semi-finals bye), but I'll take it. Nobody has interest in a tourney report, so here's the props and slops:
Mega Props: Sean Ottoway for being super cool about a tabernacle upkeep. Solid guy. I'll pay it forward.
Props: The cool Bloomsburg crowd. Brandon and Sean were classy opponents, and the Brian Kelly deck will continue to haunt my workshop dreams. Had some great games with Johnathan in the quarter finals- nothing like 20 permanents on the field.
Slops: Ancient Tombs and Mana Crypts did a lot of damage today (for me and against).
Plays that worked: Leading with wasteland
Plays that didn't: Trying to beat a first turn tezzeret and oath. Making a deal in the swiss to not use seeding in finals with BK (though to be honest, he trounced me on the draw too). He's a great person to play against. Very animated and fun.
The deck I played was a slightly modified Blaine Christensen Deck. I decided to run an extra Tabernacle in sideboard and a ghost quarter in main (ghost quarter didn't affect any game). I also usually run an extra Wurmcoil (3), but decided to mess around with batterskull instead (which I am not a big fan of).

Thanks for another great event Shawn. Turnout was lower than expected, but everyone still had fun.
Congrats to all top 8. After the top 4 split I just wanted to leave to save time for the drive home, sorry I couldn't battle it out. You would probably be no match for Humans and Elementals anyway!

No worries, totally understand! Sticking around for 3 hours for a chance at bragging rights, doesn't make much sense I'm sure we'll cross paths again! Till next time-

"Unfortunately, only 14 vintage participants ventured out to Bloomsburg following the holiday seasons in order to win store credit." Let's be honest, though, Shawn, once the awesomeness factor is calculated in, there was probably more like 41 participants.

I had to double check this to make sure I was reading the beards deck correctly haha. I wish I could have attended but I was on my death bed with the flu that caught up with me and I still have sadly. I will have to push for the next one! congrats to all

There are more Brian Kelly decks than half the established pillars of Vintage...
World domination incoming.
