Games & Stuff
7385-G Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd
Glen Burnie, MD 21061

January 4, 2015

Starting with this event, Games and Stuff is hosting 4-round vintage the first Sunday of every month.

Format : Vintage
Price : $10
Time : 1pm

4 rounds of swiss

15 Proxies are allowed. If you're concerned about the legality of your proxies, ask the judge before we start the event.

Prize:
4-0-0 $75 store credit
3-0-1 $45 store credit
3-1-0 $15 store credit

Some of you have been coming to monthly vintage events here on the first or second Saturday for a few months and might be wondering, "Why the change?"

1) So we don't compete with the Monthly X-wing tournament for space. There's plenty, but once we get an RPG game and a few commander players, things get crowded, hot, and loud.
2) A steep $25 entry while allowing a whole 15 proxies is unfocused. The purpose of allowing so many proxies is to bring new players into the format, but an entry fee more than three times that of our FNM and twice that of our weekly legacy events would turn some potential experimenters away.
3) This eliminates the need for a top 4 or top 8 cut which, while necessary for even 9-player events with invitations in the top prize, results in unnecessary rematches for a casual event such as this.

When is the next event going to be scheduled for?

To my knowledge, I believe Parker said that they are aiming for it to be the first Sunday of every month.
