Can Con Australian Vintage

On Monday 26th January (Australia Day), 23 Powerful Wizards made their way to the Annual CanCon Vintage event.
Even though this year’s attendance beat last year’s event size by 6, Can Con is still one of the smaller large events on the Australian Calendar. As we were likely one of the first tournaments in the post Treasure Cruise world (and certainly before any deck lists could have been posted prior to the start of this tournament) many were nervous and wondering what the meta would look like.

At the end of the day however, it was Graham King who stood above all others with his UW Bomberman deck featuring new a cards in Monetary Mentor to go along with his solid U/W suit of cards. Graham managed to defeat is Dredge opponent in game 3 keeping no anti Dredge hate in the final game to clench the match and the event.
