I'm not sure it concerns all that many people posting and reading here, but since Vintage is also involved I wanted to briefly mention it here.

In 2015 MKM (magiccardmarket) is starting a new tournament series, featuring 6 tournaments in 6 different European cities. The cool thing about this is that Vintage has the same price pool as the other formats. Anyone planning on attending?

This seems pretty sweet. Please let the Spanish stop be in Barcelona!

That's cool for the European players.  I'm not sure if it's been noted yet, but that site has come contradictory information:

Quote
Each format has its separate leaderboard. At the end of six stages, Top24 players of each format will play the four SuperFinal to become the MKM European Champion
Quote
After six stages, the Top32 players for each format will go to play the SuperFinals to decide the Champion and win the Special Prize.

Woah awesome! I suggested this in a facebook post last year. Really glad to see it's happening! I wish it had been announced a bit earlier so people could plan trips and stuff. But it should be fun!

I remember me and a group of friends bringing such a potential series up to the staff of MKM in... 2011 I think. Took some time, but better late than never! I hope the Vintage portion will have great succes, see you all in Prague Smile

After seeing this, my plans for this year have changed completely. Will be trying to attend all of them - we Europeans should show them Americans that we can do such a super series as well! And support for Vintage?! How cool is that. See you in Rome!

It would be really nice to have a local event here, but I'm not sure at all. The statue in the spanish image is from Madrid.

Should I get decks for standard, modern and legacy? I suppose I should learn how to play Magic before XD

Well mi apellido es Santa Coloma so I'm rooting for Barcelona. Maybe I can just go for holiday and take a sidetrip to Madrid with some Barcelona locals.

Same as @Twiedel. My playgroup and me will try to go every event. An European Vintage circuit and 4-gifts are the best news for Vintage in years Wink

I think spanish event will be on Madrid, because the picture is the emblem of the city Smile
