FWIW I was there yesterday and the board said that this isn't going to be Swiss with a cut. It's just 4 rounds, payout based on points.

12 points: 180 prize tix
9: 90
6: 60
3: 30

The prizes go deep but are not at all top heavy. The most basic exchange rate on tickets is 10 = 1 in-print pack.

I played in the event yesterday. Went 3-1, losing to shops for an exciting 120 prize tickets. In all it was just fun to walk around, make some deals with vendors and play vintage
