This must be one of the zaniest Top 8s since records began! What are they putting in the water in Bloomsburg?! Some really interesting decks - incredible to see Twin make an appearance in Vintage. I suppose Exarch is broadly useful enough that it feels more like you're playing a 1-card combo than 2. Looks solid! Congrats to Brian Kelly too for creating a renegade metagame in his own image!

Another disappointing result for UR Delver today. I felt I got unlucky in a lot of my matches, and sometimes just got blown out.
First the list:
Gott Delver?
Mana (17):
4 Volcanic Island 4 Scalding Tarn 2 Flooded Strand 1 Polluted Delta 2 Island Strip Mine Black Lotus Mox Sapphire Mox Ruby
Threats (9):
4 Young Pyromancer 4 Delver of Secrets 1 Dack Fayden
Counters (11):
4 Force of Will 4 Mental Misstep 3 Pyroblast
Draw (18):
4 Preordain 4 Gitaxian Probe 3 Gush 3 Dig Through Time Ponder Brainstorm Treasure Cruise Ancestral Recall
Removal (4):
4 Lightning Bolt
Misers (1):
Time Walk
Sideboard:
4 Ingot Chewer 4 Grafdigger's Cage 2 Tormod's Crypt 2 Sudden Shock 2 Null Rod 1 Mountain
Round One: Calvin on Stasis
Game One he starts off with an Ancestral Vision. I do some digging with cantrips and what not he casts a Shardless Agent at some point and cascades into Sapphire. I cast Dack and steal the Agent for more beats. He lands a Stasis but I swing with my remaining tokens and double Bolt ends it.
Game Two he starts off with another Vision. Fairly similar game, he casts a Keranos God of Storms but forgets his one trigger and I win shortly after with exact token damage
Round Two: Kohler on Dragonlord Oath
Game One he plays land pass I believe. I cast Probe and see Force, Force, Blue Card, Blue Card, Oath, Orchard, Dramoka. I try to Force his Oath bit he Forces back, I Gush to try and find another Force or Pyroblast but no luck. Next turn he Oaths up Salvagers and kills me.
Game Two I resolve a turn one Cage he goes Land Mox go. I try to stick a Null Rod, he Forces pitching Walk. I Pyroblast, he Forces pitching Repeal. I Gush and draw Probe Preordain. Null Rod goes bye bye. I Probe his two card hand and see Land Jace. He top decks Mox and Casts Jace. He eventually Casts a Salvagers and activates Oath with Cage(s) in play to mill himself, hardcast Dramoka and comboes me.
Round Three: James Saltsman on Martello
Game One we both Milligan to 5 but his five is much better than mine
Game Two I go Lotus Land Preordain Delver Delver, I win shortly after.
Game Three was very interesting but he squeaked it out. I made a misplay of Stripping his only Land (Tolarian) while he had a Trini out and not having a third mana source.
Round Four: Ottaway on The Answer
Game One he counters almost everything I play, including Misdirecting my Ancestral while his was on the stack.
Game Two he plays hard control again and lands Chalice at one while also countering everything again.
Round Five: DJ on Dredge
Game One he scoops mid game because he realized he shuffled his sideboard into his deck (take a memo everyone, this is how you beat Dredge game one)
Game Two I land Cage and Protect it with Force and use Tormod's Crypts so that he can't even be in the game.
So all in all I can say I really hate Chalice of the Void. I'm going to need more answers to it. Very fun event Shawn and Thank You for hosting another great event! Congrats to the Top 8 and especially Matt Murray for returning to TPG with a big Win!

The twin build was the biggest innovation of the day. Watching and experiencing some of the plays that the deck produces was insane. Props to the top ! Props to the academy! Props to Ramrod! Props to Shawn and TPG! Props to the Gyro place!

Thanks for hosting, Shawn! Your events are always a pleasure, even though I had to face the trifecta of doom (Murray, Kelly, AND Kohler!). Gentlemen and scholars, every one of them. Thanks to Calvin for a set of Bazaars. Dirty D can be run for real now!
