One of the most important things in tournament quality vintage magic.. playtesting..  Sadly, I'm severely lacking in that area, and am starved of Type 1 play for weeks at a time...  Are there any Vintage players in South Jersey that would consider starting a playtest group?  Me and a friend = I get to playtest against dragon 100% of the time.. not very effective..  Also, where might one find a vintage online community, because I'm not opposed to testing online (preferably MWS, but appr is ok too)..

Thanks all,

Nick Coss

Even if you aren't able to find any one else live to play against... You and your friend could proxy up different decks.  This not only tests your personal deks, but gives you a good feel of the way your potential opponents decks will run as well.  To know how your opponents deck wants to go about winning, allows you to play yours better against him in the tourny.

That is if your friend is willing to put down the Dragon deck for a minute Smile

Thats a good idea.. Ideally I would like to bring in more real people, because people have different playing styles and different ways of making decisions..  And its gonna be hard to convince him to put down dragon, its his baby, i do like the idea of proxying though
