Goblin Knight (or Red Knight) RR Summon- Goblin Knight Double Strike 1/1
Most likely to cheap, since the power of Double strike gets crazy with pump effect. can be turn 2/3 win with blood lust and beserk. But it seems in flavor for a red knight. Maybe should be RRR
Current Wording: Goblin Knight WR Summon - Goblin Knight Double Strike 1/2 Some goblins were trained for modern warfare [/i]

That looks like a pretty overpowered card. While it may not be right for this particular card, I've wanted to see a 1 CC 0/1 creature with double strike .

Probably should be 1WR, since it's a knight in addition to being a goblin. I tacked on a colorless because Doublestrike is too nuts with pump spells.

I was about to suggest that multicolor spells are traditionally undercosted a little, but then I realized that 1WR factors this in. WR isn't enough for a 2/1 that goes all Hulky with pumps. You don't even have to go off-color to find Blood Lust and Blood Frenzy.

Bring on the current wording post!
2/1 double strike for 1WR. Make it a goblin soldier so we sacrifice flavour for functionality: soldiers can benefit from more other cards than knights can, and I think this could use a little extra power.

2/1 double strike is too big. That's already a 4/1 when it comes to dealing damage.

Yeah 2/1 double strike is too big unless i did put it at 3 mana which i think would be to much to make playable. (even if it was 2 off colors) i wanted to try to hold it at 2 mana like the black and white knights. Upped the toughness to 2 which also makes it closer to the White Knights. Also keeping it as a knight helps since soldiers get to many pumps, and again is in flavor of the other nights.

I don't really like the flavor on this guy. Why is he a goblin knight? that combination makes no sense.

Yeah the flavor text blows. made it up quickly. The goblin Knight has more to do with it being a version of White Knight/Black Night (or at least was the original idea)
Red Knight could be a better name at this point. and drop the Goblin Type.
What do you all think?

Elvish Ranger deals four damage for 2G, and probably comes with better art than this thing. So what's wrong with 2/1 for 1WR? That's harder to cast, you know...

Because half of that damage is first strike damage, and any pump effect on it is doubled.
