[Announcement] MICon Mt. Pleasent - 07-02 (5proxies)

Tournament Date:  Febuary Seventh, 2004.
Prizes:  To be detrimed on day of.  Attendance barring, Cash shall be first prize with at least 20 people showing up.  Door prizes also.  There shall also be dealers present.
Place:  Univirsity Center Rotounda (Sp?) in Mt. Pleasent, Michigan at Central Michigan university.
Entry fee:  $12.

I would lov ethis tournament to be as big as possible... anyone within the greater michigan area should come!  It is unsanctioned T1... and should be a lot of fun!

<CarlosElS> Anyhow, US 127 Northbound:  Get off at the first Mt. Pleasent Exit, Take a left at the third light and it is after the four way stop.

I know I'm planning on being there...if I can get a time when the tourney starts that is! :lol: Also, is that the Bovee Center?  More directions would be helpful for people traveling from Detroit, Traverse City area...

Truthfully, there is no reason why this should be missed.  I know there's a T1 scene North of Detroit, so let's represent a bit and hopefully make this an annual Michigan event.

I'd also like to see some people from KZoo show up and represent.  I've made my way down there a couple times, why not show up and let'em know what KZoo has?

Detroiters, I know you have a scene as well. I've played in numerous Detroit tournies.  Masquerade games, and also a few places south of Detroit have regular tournies--this is a perfect opportunity to win some cash.

That goes for Grand Rapids, Traverse City (been there numerous times at a place called the Fun Factory) and Alpena--no matter where you're from in MI.

C'mon and show up for this one if you're in the Michigan area. If Ohio is too far to travel to meet MeanDeck members on the 7th, you'll have to come to Mt. Pleasant and meet one!
