I'd hoped to play this deck in 1.x as a weird rogue deck, but it never became competitive enough for my tastes. Mainly because it runs out of steam fairly quickly, and it's susceptible to alot of hate like other reanimator decks.

Mana: 28
4 Llanowar Wastes
8 Forests
8 Swamp
4 Chrome Mox
4 Birds of Paradise

Creatures: 16
4 Elvish Aberration
4 Twisted Abomination
4 Wirewood Guardian
4 Wild Mongrel

Disruption: 8
4 Duress
4 Pernicious Deed

Reanimat0r: 8
4 Reanimate
4 Exhume

I never really tuned it beyond a few days, because I don't think it really has any competitive applications. However, I still play it casually, and it's really good fun.

I've considered, but haven't tried, Krosan Tusker and Scion of Darkness. I never really bothered, because they effectively increase the mana curve of the deck, and make it too slow versus the 1.x field. Also, the deck looks loaded with mana at 28 sources, and in retrospect I'd almost definitely cut some of those, considering the deck rarely misses a land drop due to the land cyclers. 4 Chrome Mox is also likely too much, but along with the BoP's they allow for early "brokenness" (relatively speaking) such as first turn land cycle followed by second turn land cycle and Reanimate. It's also very easy to hardcast any of the current threats in the deck, especially with a reanimated Aberration.

So, any advice would be greatly appreciated, either to make the deck more competitive, or I suppose more fun.

Since each of the Cycling Fatties has a converted casting cost of 6 or more, why not try the cool Scourge enchantments like Dragon Fangs or Dragon Shadow?  they are free to put on your cycling dudes when they come back into play and make's em extra scary.  To get them in your graveyard, cast em on one of your weenies, or one of your opponent's creatures (if you reanimate their creatures.)
Have fun!
