Hi again, I think it would be nice to just ignore Virtuals frenchlike organisatory skillzOrz (NFI ), and just continue on the road we have been going back in the days. For purpose of readablity, I tinkered with displaying the results. The figure that is displayed is the number of points the person on the left got against the person on top. Thus, adding all points from the horizontal line will give your total number of points.

Blackmail is ridiculously good in all 3CB formats, let alone this one! Shame that there was no draw tech in this format, as I think even island-nether spirit-foil would have lost to the format-pwning blackmail.dec... good job by some people, though, the vine dryad decks aren't bad.

I think we can redo this format (only basic lands) again, but without Words of wilding, blackmail, cabal therapy. These  3 break the format bigtime. This should result in some really interesting decks, and we can actually play our cards this time (although I didn't have any problems with my vine dryad tech).

The huge problem with blackmail was that it served as land destruction when going first, and it could take the other threat when going 2nd.  Vebuild really kinda sucks, but he can at least split with other people's fat like rogue elephant.  


Cabal Therapy will be just as bad as duress, and maybe both of them should be banned.  This is because with only basic lands allowed, you can guarantee that said card will have a target (They cannot drop their hand in 1 turn barring kobolds, ornithopter, etc)

Words of Wilding is pretty crazy with the endless 2/2 bear tokens as well.  

I think this format is workable, but it would take a few competitions to make it really solid.  Those few would be weeding out the really broken cards.  

I would suggest the following rules perhaps if we would do that format.  No card can be played which targets a land, or discards from the opponent's hand.  

Besides that, just ban words of wilding, and maybe that would liven it up.  

Consensus?  Maybe that rule would need to be reworded, basically eliminate land destruction and discard from 3cb.  That is really what the old banned list was.  Land destruction, discard, mana acceleration, and overly cheap creatures (Leveler, dreadnaught).

There goes my super-secret tech recipe for making a 3cb deck, but it might make it more fun.
