I like the Idea, but I think I'd rather see Merchant Scroll and Ponder still restricted.

I don't want to play against Flash.

I also think we should play in the new (post M10) rules, with the new cards, just to see what people would do with their deck's.

Actually, this would be alot better, that way it opens more design space for players and would be a good gage on what really needs to be on that ol list, but thats a topic for another day. Perhaps just swap ponder with brainstorm.

I'll be there. 100% if it's somewhere within NA and I have time to get a passport. Maybe I'm being complete newb, but what is the location

It would most likley be in the Greater Toronto area more then likley, as this is where Rich lives, it would be able to draw from Montreal, and surrounding areas.
28  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Feedback: Largest NA Vintage event? on: December 18, 2009, 10:25:56 am
I definatley think proxies are a must for this proposed event, it just would not work with out them.
29  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Feedback: Largest NA Vintage event? on: December 18, 2009, 12:01:02 am
I would be willing to Donate to the prize pool Rich, and I love this idea, and I think perhaps August would be a poor choice, what with Gencon the same month, perhaps in September, or June/July.
30  Eternal Formats / Blue-Based Control / Re: U/R Landstill still viable? on: December 09, 2009, 12:47:49 pm
Trust me, you will definatley find the wishes to slow,  and that you should nto be trying to reinvent the wheel with Rich's list...
As someone who has the pleasure of playing in the landstill capital of the world, not much as changed since the 2007 list..

But one little innovation that has been seeing play, is 1-2 Vendillion clique, which is a good surprise and also helps get into the red zone.
