I think a couple of my results are wrong, though one is complicated: 1.  combo_dude  -  The Great White Hope  -  Mox Pearl,  Mishra's Factory,  Kataki, War's Wage 11.  Scrappy Kid  -  Appiness is playing 1/1s  -  Undiscovered Paradise,  Stormscape Apprentice,  Elvish Scrapper I drop both my 1/1s. Now if combo_dude doesn't play Kataki, I win by destroying the Factory if he ever animates it. If he doesn't animate the Factory and try to attack me, I can just ping him twenty times. Therefore he has to play Kataki. The upkeep cost prevents him from ever animating the Factory (or if he does he has to tap it), and I can just tap Kataki every turn and attack with the Scrapper twenty times. Result: 6-0 to me. If I'm correct thats enough points to send my valiant 1/1s up to second! And by having artifact removal I deny Gimble the Mise Prize. Sorry Gimble  Or you can do it easy way, just destroy the Mox with Scrapper when he plays it. Still, same result. I can't belive I forgot to enter.

Any non-mass-produced card Does this include Mana Crypt?
TDM and MTGNews both has different rules about it. Here you can donate it, and there you can't. Well, you can, but it still damages you.
From the 'news rules:
A note about random effects and similar The random effects of cards you own will always go in your opponents favor, even if you don't control said cards. Random effects include, but are not limited to, random discards, coin flips and secret choices. Note that it isn't always necessary to win a flip or similar for it to be considered in favor. In essence, I won't let you trick the system. These kind of cards will always benefit your opponent. Do not include them in your deck if you want to win. Clarification: Mana Crypt + Donate will NOT work.

The next tournament, I think, will be a tournament with some sort of special format. I'm not too keen on re-running all the ideas from the past, although some of them were pretty cool. I'm thinking we could do one with odyessy-onslaught-mirrodin blocks legal, with 7th+8th ed available too, as we never got round to doing that. I also feel that there's a lot more scope for good decks in both the US/MM/IN blocks and IA/MI/TE blocks formats (provided we ban mise-decks for the former). How do people feel about going back and doing these again? I'd do something like 1 'special' format to every 1, 2 or 3 'normal' tournaments, if they proved sufficiently popular. Thoughts on this?
Tom Special Formats are very good and innovative challenge to build b0rken decks from very limited cardpool. One every 3 tournaments is good idea, it keeps the game intresting. Although I would play every time what ever format there would be..

I vote Lotus:Nay. The format is perfectly healthy has it is and it allows for some neat decks to arise. Show me a deck that hasn't played before besides Nibble's. Then I belive you that format is healthy. :/

Lotus/Priest of Gix/Mind Twist gets a minimum of 3-0 against everything that doesn't run Force of Will, unless someone finds a way to have a 0-cost win condition that beats Priest. It auto-6-0's anything using depletion lands or storage lands. This means the only decks capable of even hoping to go 3-3 with it must use Workshop, one-cc spells or moxen, or Lotus itself. This doesn't seem like a healthy format already.
I disagree with you. I can think like 4 decks without any effort that will atleast tie the first game against that deck, and win when going first. Here are few of them: Lotus, Glowrider, Maze of Ith Mishra's Factory x3 Sheltered Valley, Mishra's Factory, Tabernacle of the Pendrell Vale Banning Priest of Gix would be a possibility, but it doesn't get rid of the heart of the problem. As Nazdakka mentioned, most cards with 'discard' in the text would become immediate considerations for banning. Lotus-Mind Twist mises many things. Ban Twist, and Stupor shows up. Then Coercion. Then Distress + Duress, or Distress + a creature. All very powerful mise decks. Lotus/Abandon Hope/Nether Spirit is another winner. Lotus/Dark Ritual/Death Cloud. Lotus/Ritual/Extortion. There are just too many spells that become a problem where they otherwise wouldn't. I still can't understand why people would play Mise decks. That is very stupid and pointless. The best Mise deck is Lotus, Lotus petal, Balancing act. But I see no reason to play it over lets say Lotus, Treasure Hunter, Preacher or any other good deck. That being said, I do find it unfortunate, because Lotus does open up many other, non-broken possibilities. It just seems impractical to unban one card which would inevitably lead to the banning of many more. Do what Goblinboy suggested, ban all double-or-more discard. That phrase takes care of cards like mind twist etc.

3. Nazdakka – Netdecker? Moi? – Mishras Workshop, Jinxed Choker, Glacial Chasm
VS
5. r_x_ - Energy Agents – Sulfur Vent, Sleeper Agent, Energy Field
This should be 6-0 to me, Choker cannot deal damage on me while Energy Field is up. He dies when he cannot pay Chasms upkeep.
If you unban Lotus, ban all cards that may cause more than one discard per turn and Show and Tell. It shines on the MTGNews...

Why Pattern of Rebirth and Serra Avatar? The avatar prevents decking when going off. You discard a card for a Cluster to make a token, sacrafice the token to Altar to get 2 mana and a card from Fecundity and discard a card to repeat this as many times you like to get enough mana to kill opponent with Torch. If you play with Darksteel Colossus/Serra Avatar/Legacy weapon you can have infinite mana because they return to your deck when discarded to be drawn again.

Me vs. ?Isuck@MTG? - O MY GOD I HOPE THIS WORKS.dec – Mox Sapphire, Mishra’s Factory, Mana Leak
I think the results should be 4-1 for me instead of 2-2. When I go first I get Vineyard in play and can attack. If he blocks he dies on mana burn, if he doesn't, I will win the damage race.

City of Traitors, Anvil of bogardan, N.Spirit ? Too bad the Anvil is banned..
Dodecapod is just metagame card, like Duress, Encroach, Ostracize, Swamp Mosquito, Serenity and the list goes on... Its bad on the metagame now, but it has been useful.

Balance goes 50% against everything, and doesn't have too much trouble 6-0-ing against a bunch of decks. So in general, if there are 15+ players, it autowins.
Not all decks. Decks with Nether Spirit it ties, and loses on decks with Dodecapod/Sand Golem (Mirage version, not sure about the name). But in general, its very good deck.

Not sure how long virtual, r_x_, xrizzo and I have been playing for - I've been in since about last september or so (so about the last 20 tournaments, I think), but I think Xrizzo and virtual are true veterans at this.
Tom
Well, I have been played this like 3cb #10 or 11... Plus on the other sites longer.

Oxicide is metagame call. Metagame is full of Artifact based decks like Mesmeric Orb (don't laugh, its good),Slaver, Archbound etc. When metagame sifts to Keeper - Void- Whatever they are going to change on something else.
