Awesome congrats on your success. I really like the Vendilion Clique over Aven but that is just my personal preference I'm glad it has been working good for you.

Does the list feel a little heavy on the 3 drop slot now? I wonder how the deck would feel with - 1 Aven, - 1 Trinket  for 1 Brainstorm, 1 Pre ordain or Ponder.
3  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: TO Report: The Players Guild - Bloomsburg, PA - 11/17/12 on: November 18, 2012, 04:38:14 pm
Justin I really like the 2 Vendilion Clique in your Bomberman list. What are your thoughts so far with 2 maindeck?

Thanks for the info. What is the percentage typIcally for MUD. Here in United states NY/NJ it is sometimes 40 to 50 percent of the field.
5  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Ovino 7 - Winner and top4 Report @ Maná Infinito on: October 11, 2012, 03:06:32 pm
How was scavenging ooze for you? Do you think Tarmogoyf might be a good alternate choice with a heavy MUD meta? Your list def has many sorceries so Goyf will get big quick.

Awesome!!!
7  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: I WISH to SHOW you Something on: September 26, 2012, 09:20:28 am
I like the list but I think Show and Tell into a Legendary creature is not that Good bc Workshop. Their will be a 50 percent chance they will just drop down a Metamorph or Duplicant. This is why Oath is better than Show and tell in Vintage.

Show and tell into omniscience or bargain is very very good though.
8  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: I WISH to SHOW you Something on: September 25, 2012, 01:31:39 pm
When you get a chance would you mind pOsting up your list. Do you use Gush as the draw engine? 2 Hurkyls main seems very important
9  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: I WISH to SHOW you Something on: September 25, 2012, 11:12:20 am
This seems like a really fun casual game deck but I don't think it will be strong enough in competitive tournaments.

The deck is a house in Legacy I would stick with a solid Omni tell legacy build and for Vintage run Oath Griselbrand Gush or a Gush Cunning wish storm/Tinker type deck.
10  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: I WISH to SHOW you Something on: September 25, 2012, 10:45:34 am
Well against Shops, you dont have to go for the storm win. Instead you win with Emrakul. Like I said the Sb WILL need fixed.

Metamorph and Duplicant Plus spheres and trinisphere.
11  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Vintage For Cash 3 in Vacaville results/lists/pics, etc on: September 24, 2012, 08:24:17 pm
I think 4 Baleful Strix and 3 Welder is just too many slots. I would try 2 of each. This will free up 3 slots.

Ive run 2 of each with decent results. The 2 strix have helped me win games vs RUG and is awesome vs a Golem. The Welders are great if you expect Dredge or more Workshops.
12  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: 1st with RUG Delver at the TSO Sept 22 on: September 24, 2012, 08:18:53 pm
Awesome results. Did you ever feel like a couple of Trygon Predators  maindeck could help?  How were the maindeck Spell Snare?
13  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: I WISH to SHOW you Something on: September 24, 2012, 07:56:35 am
Omniscience is in here to have a bomb game. Once it is in play everything is free (including the drains and Jace). You can then use the draw cards to draw into Griselbrand and/ or Emrakul. Vault/ Key was just a throw in. What would you replace them with?

Well, anthoer Griselbrand would be better than an Omniscience. I'm just worried about getting a Show and Tell and Omniscience and no juice. Also, getting rid of them would also liberate 2 sideboard slots that seem to only do a storm combo when you have Omniscience and 2 Burning Wish.

You can go infinite storm with 1 Burning wish if Omniscience is played. Burning wish for Petals of insight which has an infinite dig loop as lOng as no spheres are in play. Dig For about storm 20 then draw 3 giving you the second Burning wish and wish for a grapeshot.

Workshop will be an impossible matchup it seems like.
14  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: I WISH to SHOW you Something on: September 24, 2012, 07:37:47 am
The list looks similar to the Legacy Omni-Tell decks running around. I don't think Omniscience will be strong enough for Vintage. Workshop with sphere effects will be tuff. The legacy deck works because of all the cantrips.

4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
3-4 Preordain

Hurkyls Recall will def be important for going off on storm. Might as well run the 1 Petals of Insight in the SB for infinite storm and dig through the deck for a Burning wish into Grapeshot or Tendrils.

Have them double sleeve with the KMC perfect fit inside the KMC ultrapro. I double sleeved every deck this way its awesome. You can barely tell the double sleeve after you work them in.
16  Eternal Formats / Blue-Based Control / Re: "The Unbroken" U/R Landstill: The Primer on: September 20, 2012, 12:42:51 pm
I noticed in the list you ran about a month ago 1st place finish only had 3 Wasteland with 1 extra fetch land. How were the results of this change? Was it easier to get the double blue needed for Mana drain. Did you miss the 4th wasteland at all?
17  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: MTG Manila TO Report - 09/16/2012 on: September 20, 2012, 11:32:58 am
Nice videos.  It looks like multiple players were using top loaders to protect the sleeved cards? A 60 card deck would be huge what kind of cases were those it looks funny.
18  Eternal Formats / Blue-Based Control / Re: "The Unbroken" U/R Landstill: The Primer on: September 18, 2012, 08:53:16 am
I think the key to getting snapcaster good in this deck is more 1 casting cost spells.

Lightning bolt
Brainstorm
Red elemental blast
Ancestral Recall
(Possibly Spell pierce)

And then the 2 CC

Mana drain
Hurkyls recall
Fire/Ice

With the strength of Shop 3 main deck lightning bolt and 3 Snapcaster could help vs the Golems and Revokers on Jace.

How does this deck deal with Dredge?

Snapcaster mage is much weaker if you only have reactive cards. Snapcasters are also not very good against shops because they are so mana intensive and especially bad against spheres.

You are absolutely correct. I didn't think about the targets as all reactive. Thanks.

What's the general consensus about Snapcaster Mage?  I think he can be good if we drop the misdirections, and add a few lightning bolts and a Brainstorm main. This will improve the Workshop matchup but hurt the Oath matchup.

I like the list above with 2 EE vs 3 with Snapcaster.

I got spanked by Nick running blue in the top 4!! I was running UBR Confidant Strix control. Great games Bob and Jace were so key in every match!!

Great games!!! Super Grindy!

The deck looks great nice work. Is sol ring in that list I did not see it. I think I like Sol ring over Mana Crypt. Maybe dropping the lotus petal and squeezing in another mana drain and jace?

I'm going to try a similiar list but maybe run more drain and Jace.

Tinker def stretches the list as well. Tinker plus a bot.
26  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: 1st in Sandusky w/ Bomberman Aug 4 on: August 16, 2012, 10:27:48 am
How come most Bomberman lists do not include a 1 of Hurkyls and a watch to search for it like mystical tutor or merchant scroll. I can see workshop matchup getting very difficult vs sphere effects and golems.
27  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: 1st in Sandusky w/ Bomberman Aug 4 on: August 15, 2012, 07:25:50 am
Maybe the deck just needs some adjustments to get better at the Workshop matchup. Maindeck steels might help and possibly some artifact mana acceleration from mana vault maybe grim monolith and another key.

For Expresso Stax build does anyone have any experience with Sideboarding a couple of The Tabernacle at pendrell vale and care to talk about if it worked well for them. I was thinking of 2 x Maze and 2 x The Tabernacle to deal with Trygons and other new creature decks coming out.

How come in the finals second game at 5:09 he plays an island waits 1 minute then in the same turn plays a flooded strand. It looks like he played 2 land in the same turn.
