As far as I've seen, most Tezz decks run at least 2 or three bounce spells that can be used to deal with Null Rod, compared to this deck's 1 Rebuild and 2 Ancient Grudge. I know that Welder can remove rod sometimes, but it really shouldn't be all that common. (For those of you who remember, this used to be an issue for Control Slaver against Gay UR Fish back in the day, to such an extreme that some Fish decks were even cutting Lotus just to make it a certainty.) It also weakens the mana base pretty harshly by forcing you to run green.
I think you're mis-evaluating bounce by saying it effectively removes Rod from your further plans. If you bounce it, you have one turn to do things. Remove it with Ancient Grudge, and you'll have at least two turns to do things. That makes a big difference when you're setting up a winning scenario, especially a deck with this many draw7s. When playtesting against Yangtime, his mana seemed perfectly fine, and I don't think the fourth color detracts enough from the manabase enough to warrant cutting Regrowth and flashback on Ancient Grudge, the former of which is pretty sick in a pile of restricted cards.

This is five days away. Who will reign supreme?! With Twaun out of the picture, will the illustrious Mark Trogdon dominate the dojo and keep the power in Cleveland, or will someone try to snatch it away from the sandy shores of Lake Erie?! Or will Scottish Juggernaut Jerry Yang continue his great performance from Day 2 of the ICBM Open and ruin people? The only way to know for sure is to come and find out.
Hype!

So I commented on that video, and got this reply via Youtube mail: Hello, (Stuff edited for safety) the video of Mike Esposito. Just wanted to let you know, he works at a store called Game Nightz that is here in Phoenix, AZ. They sell singles for him. Their website is gamenightz.com This person is not liked here and he is banned from every store except the store that he works out of. This is his myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/z06z06 Any help I cant get from anyone to take this guy down, would be a real help. Thanks. Not entirely positive this is the exact person or situation, but it does confirm that he stole a backpack that contained a black lotus, and it must have been recently, since there's no reason to post this anytime past it just happening. So people in the Phoenix area (and around the Western US apparently), watch your stuff.

I think that a lot what you said is sub-par, considering the fact that you have infinite turns. Why would you take infinite turns, and then want to ruin their board by slaving them? You've already won; you have infinite turns.
I'll have to get the exact number tomorrow when I playtest with Mark and Jerry, but I'm pretty sure Jerry won a whole lot of games on the back of a protected Sphinx. About half, IIRC. Nam playtested Rich's list at our weekly tournament and kept saying that he wanted something to win with. The deck seemed too slow watching him play it, but Nam will have to comment on it.
I personally like the addition of welder, but having it in the deck almost forces you to play other robots, essentially turning you into slaver with an unnecessary combo center. Maybe perhaps only as a 2-or-1 of, to reinforce the Mirror Strategy without forcing you to run Strat planning/Slaver/Trikebus. You'd really only need it against control to solidify having a mirror in play. Red splashing might hurt the manabase too much against shops, however.

Diablo II: LOD anyone?
I had the urge two nights ago to start playing it again. I have a 78 Sorceress already.
This computer isn't good enough to play Guild Wars (shocking, yes) and I don't have money for WoW, so it's classic online gaming at it's finest.
Ephraim, should I ever decide to log back on to GW my name is Eric The Awesome. I only play the original version though, I stopped buying after Factions because it sucked. If you see me on say hello.
Oh, and I have almost half of the 40 songs on Guitar Hero II for PS2 five-starred. That's as good as I'll get.
