I'm sorry for the stupid question, but for the life of me I can't remember whether International Edition is legal in Vintage. Can anyone clarify this?
A search on the net hasn't confirmed or denied it.

I've recently returned to playing Magic after a 3 year absence and having played Vintage pretty much exclusively before I stopped, I had to resume playing this wonderful format.
I've started thinking about using Winter Orb again. There was an old deck many years ago called 'Forgotten Orb', which if I remember correctly, was a U/B Weenie-type deck with 4 Winter Orb main. It also ran some counters, especially Memory Lapse, because of the great synergy with Winter Orb.
Do you think there is a place for Winter Orb in the current format?

My name is Frederico and I live in the United Kingdom (Maidstone in Kent). I'm Portuguese and I started playing in Portugal the week Alliances came out, in 1996. I used to be fairly active in the days of Beyond Dominia, mostly on the Extended forums and a bit on the Type 1 forum. I signed up for The Mana Drain the first day it went live, back in 2002. I posted a bit, but not as much as I should have. I had a very demanding job back then. I stopped playing in about November 2004 and haven't picked my cards since. I've got a pretty good collection of Vintage cards, pretty much everything useful that came out until November 2004, but no power cards. Looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do.

The subject says it all, really. I haven't played any Magic in 3 years. I used to play Vintage and used to be active in an older incarnation of this site. In fact, I remember when this site started in late spring / summer 2002, when Beyond Dominia shut down. I see Zherbus and Smmenen are still around.
I dug out my pile of cards and started going through them and the desire to play hit me again. I was thinking of selling them all, but now I don't think I will.
So I'm going to start reading the forums again and no doubt asking questions, as I struggle to understand what's happened to this game since I stopped. So many new expansions, new decks and new bans/restrictions to catch up on.

Wow, Azhrei is still around! Bloody hell, I remember Azhrei from the days of Beyond Dominia. Man, I'm old.
