Sunday Event, how crazy.  I'll be moving Jiu Jitsu to an early time slot so I can make this one.

I guess Jitsu, then we'll carpool?

Tons of fun as usual.  I believe there were 17 players.  I lost in top 8 round to a teammate thanks to some loose keeps (fueled by our having split already and figuring that the top 4 would split anyway).

Picked up a second Rebuild for my deck beforehand, and turned credit into a foil Snow-Covered Island (so hot!) and my fourth Underground Sea.

A great day!  Will post my tourney report later.

My list was essentially LSV's from the Nat's side event:
-1x Thoughtseize
+1x Duress (wanted to play 3x Foil Duress, as I don't have a Foil Thoughtseize)

-1x Repeal
-1x Hurkyl's Recall
+2x Rebuild (more synergistic with DESIRE)

-4x Dark Confidant
-1x Sensei's Divining Top
-1x Mystical Tutor
+1x Memory Jar
+1x Misdirection (proxy meta = more Ancestrals flying)
+1x MIND'S DESIRE (absolutely balls-out broken)

-1x DSC
+1x Inkwell Leviathan
+1x Tezzeret the Seeker

I guess those are somewhat significant changes, but I did start from LSV's list, I swear.  He played 61 cards so the above changes plus reworking the manabase trimmed one.  I didn't have an Oath board or Regrowth so I cut green.

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.

Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops.  I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.
