I'll be there and be bringing Jesse Squared. I might also be bringing Savage, depending on if he can make it.

I limped into 8th place and then double mulliganed myself out of the tourney. Makes me want to puke. Who won? Bad turnout also, 22 players or so.

I also lost in the top 8, Jake Gans got me. I had a good time, this was my first NYSE, too bad turnout wasn't what it usually is. Hopefully more will come out for NYSE XI,

3rd place. Lost to UBg Tezz in semi's...seems MD nature's claim worked well for him. Overall great day, made some new friends and played some tight games. I continued my streak of playing my car at every NYSE event, which while unfortunate at least got one of us in t8 again. Look forward to more vintage.
Keeper is alive and well.

The wake up. 645 am. I get my ass outta bed and get dressed. It takes me about 20 to get ready. My teammates show up seconds later; they hop in and away we go. Now keep in mind folks, we are coming from wilkes-barre pa. We start out on time, after grabbing a cup of joe. Half hour later we get gas and pick up the last member of the carpool. I'm so content on how this trip was starting off! We get all the way to good old NJ before the first issue arises. We miss a turn due to some random geek/movie/magic road trip convo. Lucky us, it was in this cute little town, Newark! After getting directions we could not understand for the second time. We just go on sheer man-direction skills {got lucky} while yelling at each other for a bit. We get back on track after only using 15 of our hour and fifteen minutes cushion. More smooth sailing until we get to the George Washington bridge. We hit not one,not two,but three traffic jams on the bridge. Now most of our time cushion is gone. After driving a bit more, we hit the now one lane Throgs neck bridge. Now we are around an hour late at this point. We get to the Brothers Grim at 12:57. After talking with Nick and the fill in t.o.,who did a great job all day, two of the four of us play. Which now brings me to the props and slops.
PROPS. Ryan Fisher - for bringing the council back an ancestral recall underground seas. Congratulations on dominating the last 2 tournaments you've been in; the first being a top 8 cut, and the second for winning this event.
Thomas Dixon - I sat and watched his game against Chris Pikula and Ryan Fisher. even after mulling to five in one of the games against Chris, it was fun to watch him beat face. And then, against Ryan, even though he lost, it was a nail-biter.
Congrats to the rest of the Top 8!
SLOPS. Beginning of the bridge traffic. Middle of the bridge traffic. End of the bridge traffic. One-lane bridge traffic.
Nick D. - not for no-showing to his own tourney, but for not taking me to the Yankees game with him, haha! Just kidding, can't wait for the next N.Y.S.E. event.
The Pizza place behind TGI Fridays - for having cock sucking terrible food and staff, but that's another story.

I appreciate the sentiment. You have no idea how nervous/tilted I was across from Chris, but I managed to eek it out. I'm glad my deck choice/play was a pro for you, and look forward to attending more events(and as such seeing you guys again).
