First of all, I'd like to say thank you to all the players who traveled to Blue Bell to play some Vintage at Blue Bell Game Day #6.  I hope everyone enjoyed the awesomeness that is a free BBQ; a special thank you to those of you who either brought extra food or donated a few bucks.  It is much appreciated.  I would not be surprised if we did this again before the summer was done.  I want to thank Mike Noble, who judged and scorekept the tournament, Keith Seals, who was the BBQ master all day, and fresh off his victory 2 weeks ago decided to help me out instead of continue his streak.  Also, I'd like to thank Mike Coyle, the owner of Alternate Universes for putting up with us, and for providing his personal canopy for us to grill under.  Thanks to everyone else who helped out throughout the day.

We had 34 players for Vintage, and a great 6 round swiss with a cut to the top 8.  I present to you, the Top 8 Results, followed by decklists for Blue Bell Game Day #6!  Top 4 Decided to Prize-Split, with each player receiving $150 in credit with myself.  Then they played it out for the glory (and the no-proxy prize!).

I too was surprised by the power of 14 Chalices.  I knew I was in for a rough day when the Chalice at 0 hit, but little did I know that he would follow up with Chalices at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 too.  I conceded when the Chalice at 11 hit, in a vain attempt to bluff that my Tinker target was DSC and perhaps gain an advantage in game 2.

I'm surprised that Gansanator 69 didn't get there.  Let's hope you didn't get any corn on your tip at this event with the BBQ and all, Mark.  Also protect ya neck from the Freddie Mercury and his gang of faeries.
