Something that's been dancing around my head for the past few weeks is implementing a Survival of the fittest engine into a "vintage hate deck" shell. Survival seems like a spell that, if resolved, can, like Oath, win the game in 2-3 turns, but fits easily into a strong black/red disruption deck allowing excellent creatures like Dark Confidant, Tarmogoyf, and Magus of the Moon as well as metagame/vintage answers like Mogg Fanatic, Tin Street Hooligan, Viashino Heretic, Stingscourger, and Gaddock Teeg to see play. 4 Survival along with 2-4 efficient tutors would allow for easy access to Survival, although such a deck based around good creatures and discard doesn't necessarily need Survival to win the game (although access to 2-4 hasty Tarmogoyfs tends to speed things up considerably). I haven't really played a whole lot with different lists, but going off a fairly straightforward conversion from RGB Survival in Legacy, I wound up with something like this:

// Lands
    3  Wooded Foothills
    3  Taiga
    3  Badlands
    1  Swamp
    1  Forest
    3  Bloodstained Mire
    4  Bayou

// Creatures
    4  Magus of the Moon
    1  Anger
    4  Dark Confidant
    4  Tarmogoyf
    1  Squee, Goblin Nabob
    4  Mogg Fanatic
    4  Tin Street Hooligan

// Spells
    4  Survival of the Fittest
    1  Lotus Petal
    4  Cabal Therapy
    3  Duress
    3  Thoughtseize
    1  Black Lotus
    1  Mox Jet
    1  Mox Emerald
    1  Demonic Tutor
    1  Vampiric Tutor

// Sideboard
SB: 3  Pithing Needle
SB: 4  Extirpate
SB: 1  Faceless Butcher
SB: 1  Stingscourger
SB: 3  Krosan Grip
SB: 1  Viridian Zealot
SB: 1  Viashino Heretic
SB: 1  Fire Imp

I plan on getting a whole lot more testing done before I take a break from magic in about a month, but I wanted to get this out on TMD for some potential suggestions. I'll get some more notes up in the next few hours/days as I test/tweak. This list doesn't have white, but only because I haven't quite worked it in yet. Tutorable Gaddock Teeg seems really solid. Additional acceleration in the form of moxen, mana crypt, and perhaps Aether Vial may be warranted. Furthermore, there are really solid creatures like Eternal Witness that will need to be evaluated for inclusion as well as various hate cards incorporated from Dawn of the Death, TMWA, RG Beats, and Goblins.

Edit #1: There is no way to deal with a large creature maindeck except gang-block it with Goyfs. That isn't so bad, except that DSC just mows down a Goyf or two per turn. Stingscourger needs to get into the maindeck.

If you're worried about colossus, you can include a singleton Goblin Welder into the deck to tutor for.  Welder's pretty good across the board right now, even if you don't have anything built into your deck to abuse it with, it will help tremendously against slaver, stax and anything running tinker + darksteel.  TMWA used to run a couple just to mess with people.

I'm the only other legal target, so I draw 6 cards, and he literally quits Magic.

Terrorists searching in vain for these powerful weapons have the saying "Bill Copes spitteth, and he taketh away."
