A New England players, the time has come! It's your opportunity to choose the team that will represent you in the upcoming New England vs. New York vs. Pennsylvania Grudge Match on January 8th.
The rules for voting are these:
1. You can only vote for Team New England if you are a New England player. You don't have to be planning to come to the Grudge Match, though.
2. To verify that all votes come from New England players only, the voting thread isn't a blind poll. Instead, to cast your vote, make a post with your choices. If you're not especially active in the New England Vintage scene, it might help to mention the area where you live, or a tournament in New England that you played in.
3. You can make up to 3 choices for the main team. The 3 players with the most votes will be the primary members for Team New England. You can only choose from the list of candidates below.
4. You can also vote for 3 additional "understudies" for Team New England. In case someone on the main team can't make it, one of the understudies will fill in for them. You can choose anyone you want to be an understudy, whether or not they're on the ballot for the main team. They do need to be a New England player though, and it would probably be good to ensure they're planning to go before voting for them.
5. The voting for the Grudge Match team will be open until January 6th. I知 extending it for all three regions to allow all players the most amount of time possible to determine the team. Happy voting!
The ballot for the main roster for Team New England:
Demonic Attorney ("Demonic Attorney") Ray Robillard ("iamfishman") Steve Houdlette ("Grand Inquisitor") Eric Dupuis ("ELD") Andy Probasco ("TheBrassMan") Travis LaPlante ("JuggernautGO") John Longo ("Oath of Happy") Oliver Beaumont ("Englishman_in_NH") Jesse Martin ("failtofind") Andrew Farias ("Nefarias")
I have included a list of some, but not all, of New England痴 best Vintage pilots. If you池e not on the list, and would like to be added on, please let me know and I値l add you. If you池e on the list, and you don稚 think that you値l be able to make the Grudge Match, please let me know and I値l subtract your name from the list of potential candidates.
Happy voting, and may the best team win!

After the last Grudge Match showing I believe we should scrap all the usual suspects that played last time and rotate in entirely new people; no offense to those who participated before.

My current breakdown with a touch of love.
Demonic Attorney - No. You lost to Travis and went on a date with David. You are damaged goods. iamfishman - Yes; if you play a real shop deck instead of testing random jank. Grand Inquisitor - Yes. Try showing up? ELD - No. Political liability. TheBrassMan - Yes. You at least placed in the last grudge match. You've got the stuff to be a winner. JuggernautGO - No/Yes if this was an shit talking eating contest. Oath of Happy - No. You play Night's Whisper over Dark Confidant in Tezz. Bitch talked shops on the entire ride to Waterbury just to go 0-2 drop vs. 2 shop decks. Englishman_in_NH - No. Can't go. failtofind and Nefarias - I'm sorry I don't believe I know either of you.
That leaves Ray, Steve, and Andy.

After the last Grudge Match showing I believe we should scrap all the usual suspects that played last time and rotate in entirely new people; no offense to those who participated before.
This is actually an interesting concept. Not allowing repeat contenders would give other people a chance to show their stuff. Maybe require at least a top 8 to get in though? I mean this is assuming we keep the grudge matches going. Also we'd need a time frame in which the veterans are allowed back into the pool, or we'd run out of people at somepoint. I nominate myself for starters :p

Which is actually exactly what ended up happening with the votes. So, Team New England is: 1. Ray Robillard 2. Steve Houdlette 3. Jesse Martin If any of the aforementioned three don't make the trip tomorrow I'm going to let you guys choose between the players who are available, and we'll figure out a team. Best of luck!
