Since Togs just win too fast and Exalteds gain too much life, it got very hard for aggro to beat control. Standstill also has its weapons vs aggro.

Since Togs and exalteds are populating T8s more and more it woulld be nice to have a deck that beats their face in.

Do we all have to play Tog or is there another way out?

Obviously Tog is the only deck we can play.  I mean, every other creature in the game is terrible.  Some people talk about using creatures like Wild Mongrel,  Goblin Welder, and Goblin Ringleader, but frankly I think they're all nuts.  Tog and Angel are the only good creatures in Type 1 and you should definitely stick to them.

OR you could actually research the format and learn that U/G Madness, Slaver, and Food Chain Goblins are all good, solid decks that don't run Tog, and 2 of them are even some form of aggro.

Thanks for your replies! You guys are all so bigheaded.

sorry, but none of you did understand me. I dont wanna know if there are good creatures beside Tog. I am looking for a deck that wins vs Tog (and Keeper).

I tested around with some Madness Builds but none of them was able to beat Tog or Keeper at  a rate of say, 70:30. So my conclusion was: TOg and 4ccCOntrol have no really bad matchups which takes me to the point that I also should play Tog.

If you knew that you face Tog or Keeper in about 50% of your games what kind of deck would you choose?

So you're looking for an aggro deck that will beat the best deck in the format 70% of the time, and another control deck that has tons of answers for aggro main deck with a similar ratio?

Basically, you're not going to find the deck you want.  So you're going to have to play Tog or lower your standards to play another deck.

Ostompy is mad budget goodness and has an excellent win:loss ratio to Hulk.

You are looking for something that doesn't exist, I would start with O.Stompy and hate tune it to beat control.  That would solve you're problem.  It may not beat anything else, but you could beat tog/keeper.  Type 1 is typically a control dominated format, aggro decks generally succeed on metagame strength.  I'd look at food chain to, if you don't kill them with piledrivers, you can always combo them out.  Good luck, but beating tog/4c control 70:30 and still having a deck that can stand up to the rest of the format is going to be tough.

I would start with U/G Madness, since well you know it's Oshawa Stompy but better (having evasion seems fair, and the same good hate cards).  Then I'd be whining about my Food Chain matchup being not solid, but I'd learn to live with Tog, Keeper, both Slavers, and occasionally combo on the 'even or better' list.  Oh yeah, and if you lose to Fish you're not allowed to ever play Magic again.

Dragon is the only deck that can get anywhere remotely close to those numbers against Tog and aggro.

I can totally agree with that!

Control > Combo > Aggro > Control    is just not true anymore. I would rather suggest the following:

( Control == Combo )  >> Aggro

You really have got chances to win vs Control with a nicely built COmbo Deck and beating Aggro is soo easy.

there is one card that can beat massive drawing

CHAINS OF M.

it stops massive draw engines so it saves any deck without massive draw, but then of course it forces you into black

but thats not too bad there is also Sui black to beat the mainstream control decks

another good strategy is to have hate in your sideboard, if you are playing green use cards such as xandid swarm

t 1 doesnt force you to play a deck, there are many ways to win
