I realize that reading Inquest is a general waste of time, but I like to laugh at their incompetence (painful as it is sometimes).  Anyway, from this month's issue:

I apologize if this takes forever to download.

So, I think we're doing something right.  That Top 10 list is very good for us all as T1 players in general.  Personally, we have to give credit to Steve, JP, Carl, and all the others who write those great articles for SCG that bring some attention to our format.

I apologize if this is the incorrect forum.

Moved to basic community. I like how they use BB pictures and WB prices, though.

I especially love the 8th Edition black-bordered but non-foil Birds of Paradise. Pure gold.

Yeah, that's not very good.  But I looked at it this way: It's an old card.  That's a start at least.  Now Force of Will, Lotus, and Sol Ring?  That's pretty amazing.

Oh, man, my friends and I were laughing so hard the other day about 20 bucks for a Beta Underground Sea.  When we opened this up in the store it was great.

What is this the "top 10" of?  Just 10 cards they feel like highlighting?  Surely Sinkhole doesn't make it on any sort of "most popular" or "most played" list or anything.

It's a list of the 10 best selling cards as of last month (or whenever they put the list together).  So that does make Sinkhole the 3rd best selling card in America for a month, according to Inquest's sources (whatever they are).  For the record, I was able to sell my 3 played Beta sinks on ebay in a matter of days for $70 off a BIN.  They are selling pretty well there.  Go figure.

Like, do people even know TMD exists?  I mean, when was the last time so saw something good about a deck with Sinkholes in it?

Maybe I should put my Alpha Underground up.  I bought it for like $40, and on eBay they're going for $180+

I still find it hilarious that they just suddenly pop in with Black Lotus on the "Hot 10" list.  Ah, Inquest, you never fail to amuse me.  What's with Birds of Poopy still up there?  It seems every time I see one of these lists, it's at #1 or #2.  I don't like that card...

I'm baffled that there were more Black Lotuses sold in the last month than Underground Seas. BAFFLED.

I would buy ten beta sol rings if they were $7 apiece. And I would buy one at a reasonable price if anyone around here had one.

They just use the prettiest picture, they're not suggesting Beta Rings are $7.

Sinkhole is a common.

How exactly do they choose these?  What sellers do they get their information from?

Who cares, at least we're getting attention for the outsiders.  I'm happier of that then anything else really.

That wrath of god is portal, and worth like 20 dollars.  Their pictures are ways off.  Inquest is horrible.

We said all this stuff already, two weeks ago when the thread was active. Don't resurrect dead threads like this.
