Just back from Gencon, from what I understand neither Windfall nor Brassman are responsible for having saved waterbury, but rather it was a friend of windfalls who recovered the white rook case containing the waterbury prize. That said, what Waterbury would be complete w/o Brassman present, and in that way don't we all save waterbury? Needless to say reflection should be present for this one in possibly record numbers I don't see how any trash talking can commence there is only one team left in vintage and none of you stand a chance against us Hmmmm, I don't remember us voting on admitting you to reflection.....ohhhhh ok, I get it, you were talking about *snicker* meandeck. I suppose as we are so numerous we'll be competing against each other. Quality>Quantity

I got a round trip ticket for 1 to Chicago (from Philly) for about 160. You can count on airport parking to be roughly 30ish if you stay several days, and then you need to cover food/lodging/entryfee. If you want prices of your own, just visit an online travel site (Expedia, Orbitz, etc) and they'll give you free quotes. You might want to check multiple times since you could see a 300 dollar ticket one day and the next day you'll see the same ticket for like 100. It's crazy.
I am taking the train to Waterbury. It's SO cheap, efficient, and you don't have to worry about all the hassles known to air travel.
As for Waterbury itself, I've only heard rumors but I can't wait to experience it. The team grudge match will be especially entertaining. I can't wait for even MORE prizes than usual!

I guess I'll chime in, since we're apparently doing roll call for my team. It looks more likely than not that I'll attend, just to up the record numbers of Reflectionite attendance if nothing else.

Ok y'all...we could start the talk once more now that we have more definitive information.
With Imperial Seal and Personal Tutor restricted, but Grim Tutor not, should we have portal legal on day 1?
Discuss.
I'll look carefully at poll results and comments made here and make a final descion by the middle of the coming week(though I think no matter what is decided, someone will be unhappy).
(Keep in mind, portal will be legal on day 2. That is already set in stone.)

Like I said in the other thread, we knew portal was going to be legal eventually, and any proxy tournament could have allowed portal. None did. I obviously don't need to get into a detailed description of the reasons, so I'll just reiterate my support for portal on the 20th and no sooner.

I couldn't miss a Waterbury...
And Corie is bugging out on me for every tournament...
He doesn't think he can even make it to Waterbury...
I know this saddens many people...
But I and Team Highwind shall be attending...
And the world will know who Team Highwind is...
You can't touch this...

No, that's the last place prize. Killer Death Squid will take the team championship, clearly. It's what happens when you cross the only remaining Team Short Bus with a random Mexican.

Why in the world would I want to travel across the country to go to Waterbury? For the same price as travel expenses right now, I could just buy a new Mox. So, why? Because this is going to be the baddest mutherfucker of ALL TIME!!!1!
I'm so stoked.
We may not have the numbers like Team Ohio does, but I bet there will be ass-kicking done by many a Reflectionite.

I'm probably getting my first tournament after a many month haitus a bit earlier than November. It's crazy sauce - goats and all!
