Wander in Dreams It should come as no surprise to anybody that I voted for "Somnomancy." The 'mancy' suffix is one of my favourite stylistic devices, especially when it comes to naming Magic cards. It's very satisfying to see it used here in a way that's actually appropriate.

I liked Dust of Dreams because it goes with the art and I feel it matches the mechanic.

I have to agree with Ephraim, Somnomancy just jumped off the list at me. Dreamless Sleep and Tranceport both are pretty cool too.

The name ought to be 'Sleep to Dream', or at least the flavour text: "To sleep, perchance to dream". Whatever happened to literate flavour text. See 'Karakas' - a beauty.

I like Trial of Sands.. because it makes me think of Sands of Time, which for some reason I thought of when I saw this card.

I'm with BurningIce. Trial of Sands sounds wicked and fits the art. It's either that, Astral Pilgrimage, or Somnomancy. I'll flip a three sided coin or something.

:lol: I'm kinda psyched about this card, though. I realize it may not be very good in Vintage, but it appeals to the Spike in me. Or Johnny. Or whatever the name of that kid was that liked stupid combo cards and weird ass effects. Heck, for all I know it's a Timmy card. Tinker out DSC, play this, and, um, lose? Whatever. You still get to draw 11 cards! I can't wait to put this on Panoptic Mirror  Heck, it's playable in T4 anyway. |

I voted for Wander in Dreams. To me that name seems to fit what the card does perfectly. The figure in the art can be seen as both the instigator of the "wandering" and the guide who leads you through it. It's a very flavorful and emotional name, which few of the others can claim. Somnomancy is far too clinical a name for my tastes in this instance. The art wants a much softer name which has meaning that goes beyond definition.

To say those things, you have to play the card, which probably is never going to happen for people that want to win. The card was sort of a letdown to me; I thought that the first two were much more interesting. That having been said, some of the names are pretty cool. I voted for Somnomancy myself. |

Let me correct you. Only in Dreams sounds like a Weezer song. A bland pop-rock band would never "Wander." There must be singularity!
