That is funny, I always see the results of proxy tournaments as a little skewed, as (more than) half the decks contain tournament illegal cards.

I interrupt this thread for a special memory:

There once was a girl who wanted to kill me. I met her only once, but from the first second we talked she was obsessed with the idea. I probably would have never known she had the thought if she would not have started trying to accomplish it the next day. Over the course of three weeks she tried twice to run me down with her car, once to strangle me with a phone cord, three time I ate food that had arsenic in it, and once I was even nearly lit on fire.

While this is extremely entertaining in retrospect, it was not the most pleasant way to pass my days. I became edgy and paranoid, and was popping no-doze and drinking caffeine to stay awake and watch my back. I am not going down easy. I briefly had the thought that if I just killed her then it would be the end of it, but the problem was this: I didnt want to be a murderer (you are not allowed to make money writing books about your crimes any more) and I actually found her to be pretty hot when she was violently trying to end my life.

So I decided it was time for a confrontation.

It was pretty hard to wrestle her down and pry the knife out of her hands, but I was able to do so and with the help of some rope we were able to get comfortable and talk. Why the hell are you trying to kill me?

So once they bury you I can dig you up and make love to you.

Last time I voted myself for all categories (including "best deck in a european top 8"), so I can't do that again this year. Instead, I'll direct most of my efforts towards recognizing the players we've lost over the past year.

3) Worst/Most Hated Poster: You guys have no idea how bad some of the now banned users were. I can't even pick one.

5) Best Deck Innovation: Gifts (the whole deck, so props to CAB, Brassy, Smmenen, Toad, et cetera). Uba Stax is definitely #2 here, though, so mad props to Vroman.

Oh, I know. I was speaking generally, though. Obviously, there are still specific people around from the first and second ages of vintage, but generally speaking, we're moving into the third major wave, at least online and in the Northeast.

The difference between "worst" and "hated" here is that these guys are definitely the worst, but we ban them so quickly that there isn't enough time for the hatred to build up to the boiling point.
