This poll is soo much more important than the worst comic poll.

Come on people, vote for the funnay!

I don't see how this is even a contest.  Of the comics listed, Calvin and Hobbes is unquestionably the best.  I'd say The Far Side is the only other one that even comes close.

This would be much more interesting if it was webcomics, instead of newspaper comics. In any case, Calvin and Hobbes.

Is this even a contest? How could C&H lose? I'm with Klep here.

I voted for Boondocks because I just looked over the poll quickly and assumed that Calvin and Hobbes wasn't going to be listed since it's not currently running and more importantly, everyone knows that it would win.

Wow.  I was not aware that Calvin and Hobbes was so beloved.  In my mind Boondocks and Foxtrot are much better than the other 3 with Boondocks being the better of the twor.  Doonesbury is a distant 3rd, but thats just me.

Uhm, dude... Calvin and Hobbes.  This is even more obvious than Leo and the Two Score Dwarves.

Also, LOL @ Jacob.

Interestingly, I was familiar with all but one of the options in the 'best comic' poll, and none in the 'worst comic' poll. This evident international acclaim leads me to believe that the distinction you made was justified  Wink

Oh, and Calvin & Hobbes all the way. I can't remember having laughed that hard about anything I've ever read in my life. My mom and dad brought me back a Calvin & Hobbes book when they came back from a trip to Atlanta. I was 11 years old at the time, and I've never identified with any fictional character as much as with Calvin (sad though that may be Wink ). It shaped my sense of humor and is, together with the eighties Transformers cartoon, directly responsible for the fact that I got all A's in my highschool English class.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I never really liked Calvin and Hobbes. I went with Dilbert on this one.
