For those of you who were at GP Lille, you might have noticed the camera guys who made this promotional video about Magic. Who do you recognize (apart from the pros, that is)? Are they on TMD or not? (Obv, this will be hard for the Americans, so Europeans to the fore!)

1:02: If my eyes don't deceive me, that's one blurred TMD Dutchie in the background... right?
2:10: The guy in the red sweater is Andreas Klaes, notable German Vintage deckbuilder.
2:39: In the lower left corner, there is Frank Morgenstern, Vintage player from Dresden (not on TMD, afaik).

Also, note that they dug out every single female that was present in Lille to have them on video. All in all, the video could be much worse, I think. Opinions?

1:02. That's Roy Thijsen.
2:02. Sjoerd Willems! Although he doesn't play Type I and isn't on TMD, he travelled with us Razz
4:34. At the beginning of the table, on the right, the guy with the scarf is Frits Brun, my teammate and friend.

Some blurred shots, but you can't recognize people clearly. I saw myself walking by at least once, but it was really blurred..

This is why you should walk slowly, with flair.  You never know who's got a camera on ya.

I will break into your house while you aren't home and disguise myself as a chair. Then I will leave before you get home, but there will be a place at your table where I was a chair and you will wonder why there isn't a chair there. Then later I will leave the chair disguise on your doorstep and you will realize what has happened and you will be afraid all the time. Helter Skelter mother fuckers!

Where is the video coverage of American events? Who doesn't want to watch Demars vs. Rich Shay on video?

There was no video coverage. This video was shot by an on-site camera crew for promotional purposes only. No matches or anything were recorded, they just stopped random people to ask them about Magic. I don't think WotC has yet realized how much appeal a Demars vs Shay match would have...

Amen to that!  Video coverage would be amazing for those of us that can't make it halfway aacrossthe country (or world, for some of you) to those high profile vintage events.
