The map is neat but surprisingly few members registered. Voting in a poll is much easier. Give me some numbers!
If the last three categories get any votes at all I will be surprised. That being said please take this poll seriously.

Can someone please change the Australia to Oceania? I live in New Zealand, and being called Australian is more annoying than a Canadian being called American.
I know of at least three other New Zealanders who are members of TMD, although they don't post much. I also know of a few Australians.

I would have edited it, but thanks to whoever did it for me. I considered Oceania when I made it but I didn't think anyone cared.
So, what formats do they play at the south pole?

New Zealand: Australia's Canada
(I was the one that switched it to "Oceania")
(Yeah yeah, I know that I stole that from America: The Book)

Why put in alternatives like Antarctica at first place anyway? "Other" would have covered the last three alternatives perfectly, as people are allowed to post further explanations if they want. That doesn't prevent people screwing it up, but at least will make it less likely to happen.

I was thinking you have the "best of both worlds" but I'm still trying to find something from the UK that's better than what we have in Belgium.

Erm...
Beer? Nope. The weather? Nope. Girls? Nope. Bands? Nope. (I hate all that retro britpop crap, and I love Admiral Freebee, a balladeer, Sarah Bettens and dEUS). Food? HELL no. (Even The Netherlands have better food than England does).
England has better castles, and a more interesting history. That's about it. Oh, and Dr. Who. I think that's a comprehensive list right there.

Good things about the UK: easy girls!. weather is ok here, I mean its shit, but its not that great in belgium either. a ot of wind here in the north though. I like the university systems, hence I am here in the UK. dont like al ot of other things: expensive alcohol (2 - 3 times more expensive than in belgium. everything else is expensive here as well. and 99% of the brits say: europe isnt part of england, they always say that its the UK, and the continent. they look at other europeans as "continentals" (lol) another good thing here is Tescos , so cheap, 24/7, great shop.

Good things about the UK: 1) Rugby. OK, so we're completely shit at it at the moment, but it's a fantastic sport. 2) University. I'm at Cambridge at the moment and it's brilliant. To quote Tom Lehrer, "Ivy covered professors in ivy covered halls". And it's May Week coming up, which is pretty much a week at the end of absolutely nothing but partying. Sleep? Food? Sod that - I've got beer to drink! (Although you're right, it *is* expensive.) Which brings me on to point 3) - real ale. I don't care what beer you think is better, there's nothing like a pint of ale; the good stuff even goes head-to-head with the good beers from the European countries that, you know, are actually famous for being 'good at beer'. 4) Hugh Grant films. Enough said, really.5) Er...actually, you're right - my country's rubbish. Adam PS Dutch guys are mostly the academic type with slightly crazy accents over here. I don't think it really matters where you're from, even those from the Netherregions can probably get laid. Hell, a toaster could probably get laid somewhere here.

Good things about the UK: easy girls!. mainly because they cannot hold their liquor. Wonder if that has anything to do with the pints of Ale... England has better castles, and a more interesting history. That's about it. Oh, and Dr. Who. I think that's a comprehensive list right there.
And there is Blake's seven. I don't care what beer you think is better, there's nothing like a pint of ale Indeed there isn't. And btw, i tasted all kinds of ale, and, well, lets just say, i never got past the tasting.

This alone should get you banned from any pub in existence. I have had two of these in my life, and they were after a bottle of wine - which is enough to at least make me not mind too much what sort of alcohol I'm drinking. And you'll never guess what the exception to that rule of "if it's alcoholic, I'll drink it" was. As for food, English food is getting something of a bad rep here: well cooked English food is fantastic. Trouble is, most places you go to won't give you any sort of decent cut of meat, which makes the rest of it very difficult to enjoy. Good English food does exist, though!

We Dutch are true peeping toms as reality soaps are growing like mad here... I know why that is: It's because your living room floors are level with the ground, and the living room windows are level with eye height. (To all who've never been to Holland: This is really true.) When you are used to even inadvertedly looking into foreign living rooms, no wonder you also do it on TV!

Problem with english food is, thats is just plain boring. everything gets fried or deed fried. they hardly use spices or sauses. I mis that. btw, olive oil is like an exotic potion to most english people. "oil that tastes like olives? YUK, let use good old plain LARD" lets not mention beans I like beans though.
