As Round 6 of 7 nears its close, the following has been reported to me by Kowal: Kowal and Diceman are X-1 and will likely be making it in. They're hoping to get paired so they can draw. Roland Chang is in contention, as is Rich Shay if he wins this round (he's currently 4-1-1). Steve, Brassy, and Outlaw are out (Brassy scrubbed ) Kowal's one loss was to the Grim Long player that T8-ed the Baldwinsville tourney. Ugo Rivard was knocked out by Paul Mastriano. Ray is out. Lastly, it looks like a single Oath player is going to make top 8, as he is the only X-0.

kowal is in, last I checked he had been playing GI gifts, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was slaver.
Outlaw and brassman were playing slaver, similar to shay's, unless andy switched decks last minute.

Two players from Quebec also made top8, playing Control Slaver and Bomberman. Ugo Rivard missed top 8 by losing the last round, as did another player from Qc.

I got 10th place, and my teammate got 9th. I beat rich shay in round 6 in the mirror, which serves as my highlight reel for the whole year since I'm still pretty much a noob. I saw several control slaver players (namely Rich shay and Kowal) running Memory Jar main (!?). There were no prizes for 9th-16th, which makes me sad, but I understand that the turnout was too low at 112 ppl. There was less fish than I thought that there would be. I played, in order, against: Dragon, CS, UG madness, CS, Ichorid, CS, Gro. Props to SCG for giving us another kickass tourney.
btw, this is not nicolae almighty, it is cryolyte. Sharing a laptop kind of sucks that way. Nick got 18th

Kowal gets 8th, Diceman 5th, Mike Herbig, the GrimLong player who beat Kowal in the swiss, is 6th or 7th. Bomberman is in top 4. Kowal thinks the Oath guy lost.

Sooooooooooooooo once again Canadians are less than a quarter of the people who show up yet represent 50%+ of the Top 8.
Thus proving once again that Canadians are just way better at Type 1 than the North East Americans.
Like come on the numbers don't lie especially not 2 or 3 times.
Good luck to all in the top 8 I'm curious what will show up tomorow.

TK from ICBM playing Adrien Sullivan's fish list made the finals. Game 2 against bomberman was a Blowout from what I heard.

So what decks are in the T8? I can kind of add up from people's posts, but does anyone know the breakdown of archtypes for sure?

1. Where's all the other WU, WUB or BU Fish decks in the T8? 2. Not really. Had you bothered to read my thread, I fucking said the ones still relying on a ton of shitty cards + Null Rod wouldn't do well. Adrian's deck at least has something resembling a strategy. Most importantly though, he used DIFFERENT cards. Cutpurse + Erayo aren't cards even close to in people's minds really. I even said later on when someone asked me about it: I personally think it has a lot of potential. But hey, w/e. Oh and congrats to Ben and Peter for sure.

Way to represent the Midwest Tommy!!! It doesn't surprise me at all that no Shops are there. It would be cool if ICBM and the Canadians have a descriptive name for their new decks for SCG (Intuition Tendrils for example) so I don't have to make something up and you guys end up hating it. I'm JDizzle's replacement for the typing job. Tommy won. after turn one tinker and ancestral. I wish I was as good as Tommy
