I have recently been hired by a new website to write weekly Vintage articles which should be up every Tuesday. You can find my first one here:

http://www.mtgchicago.com/files/Articles/Vintiage/SCG_Chicago.html

In the article I cover Lorwyn's impact on the format and what you can expect for this Chicago's metagame. I also reveal a deck that I've been working on the past  week and a half.

I hope this information isn't too late to be useful. The site is still under construction, causing the lengthy delay. If you have any questions or comments post them here and I'll do my best to respond to them tonight (I'll be traveling most of the day tomorrow).

Congratulations!

I hope the site won't turn into a premium one, so your articles can somehow revive the discussion about Vintage here.

Have you considered Synod Centurion in that deck in place of Juggernaut?  The drawback is fairly minimal in the deck, and for the same mana cost it can hang back against a big Tarmogoyf and avoid trading with a 3/4 one entirely.  I'm not saying it's better, and in fact it's generally not, but your mini-primer makes it sound like Tarmogoyfs are a serious concern and Centurion seems like it could help there.

Juggenaut > Centurion/Su-Chi any day.  The drawback is still too severe.  Trust me.

Congrats Eric!

I like the matchups and the predictions.  Your work on developing decks and tweaking old ones, is really inspiring to see.  I cannot say that I am thrilled about your feelings on Fish's chance in today's meta, as I am a U/W/B Fish player.

I've always felt sketchy about high brown content decks, but you seem to have your plans well laid and I look forward to your results and continued editorials!

congrats once again man

As for the deck, i like it . Go ancient grudge.
Aggroshop is definitely a way to go for me. Personaly I like crucible efects. Also the unresrtiction of black vise has my attention. go go gadget aggro!
I've  seen some other lists try'n diff. colors that look good.

just my two cents today (tight budget). once again thanx, an later.
