When you grew up and became the player you are not just because of brainstorm but the inclusion in all deck the format becomes nothing of what it was. It wasnt that blue basic decks were superior because of brainstorm, its the interaction with out cards. brainstorming into the scroll for gush is what would cause problems. I believe I will be exchanging all of my cards at this tourney for funds to pursue something that wont be enjoyed for me anymore.
Good luck for those hopeful, but the pain felt by the old timers, it was a good run.
Blue based decks wont have the ability to filter into the contents it needs at the way it would. Every top 8 spot that involved brainstorm was not just brainstorm, but gush and scroll and ponder as well.
I feel this is a civil rights movement, brainstorm is not the issue.

Have you tested the new format? It's ALL about who has the better opening 7. I'll sell my collection, pay 1.99, buy a deck of cards, and play WAR with my cousin. At least then, I won't have a false sense of satisfaction. I just lost the only hobby I really had. Oh well. Fuck you, wizards. EDIT: If they would have Restricted Flash, Gush, and Merchant Scroll, they would have gaven us the format we wanted. |

Well i am a local person as i do live in connecticut, and it is only a 30 minute drive for me. But me and my friends are actually looking into just getting a hotel room down in enfield for the night so we can hang out with everyone and just party...the last hurrah...but i mean if we have a table to play speed quarters on...im down...i might be a little rusty...but thats never stopped me from playing before...

I spoke to Andy Farias a couple days ago about possible lodging so there is most definitely going to be a GGs compound somewhere. Where is everyone else looking at staying at? We should probably quasi coordinate this so we don't have a disaster like what happened in Richmond where no one was staying at the same hotel and the after party kind of fell apart from there.

I will gurantee the GGs after party will go down in the history books as the party to which caused Enfield to burn to the ground. There will be a GGs party list, I will be fighting this restriction kicking and snorting... err screaming. This party will have more fury, substance and zing than Robert Downey Jr. I will atempt to have the suitcase from Fear and Loathing. I will create a guiness record of alcohol poisoned individuals. We do need to plan ahead since I guess CT closes early for liquor stores.
I need individuals to contact me who know information about CT liquor and can stock in advance, and individuals who have A.D.D.
I am in such fury I dont even know where were staying, Stefan what are we doing?

EDIT: internet would be nice. Dunno if Red Roof does that, but it'd be nice. Also, if anyone could tell me what the easiest way to get to Enfield from Manhattan is without a car, I'd be much obliged.

If the Moose Lodge is full up, next door there is a shopping center with a pizza place and Asian place. There is plenty of parking there. But please refrain from blocking the business. Thank you.
