This is the worst day ever for me. I am playing Tezz and he has out a null rod. He has no threats except he then hardcasts a berserk murdolent. He proceeds to beat me to death with it.
Ugh, I feel your pain. I HATE losing to decks I feel are subpar and I've lost to a horrible white weenie deck that played EAGER CADETS once, EAGER FUCKING CADETS!!!! I know I'm not the greatest player and I wasn't rude about it but man it pissed me off, humiliating. |

I doubt that was French. He's actually a very down to earth guy. To be fair, I disconnect if the person I'm playing against has an irrelavent deck. For example, this guy tonight had 3 misd in his tezz deck. Nobody relavent plays 1 anymore, let alone 3.

Alright I tried to copy the scroll text of how my game was going on workstation but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. GRRRR!!! So being unable to remember the guys screen name is also unhelpful, but I figure I would share my experience.
basically it went like this.
MagicMan: I tinkered for Sphynx of the steel wind
at end of my turn he tries to hide it using hide and seek.
Magic Man: I say he can't because its got protection from red and green with seek being RED.
Player X says: Yes I can, but whatever
next turn:
Magic Man: Swings with Sphynx for 6 and then plays time walk for the win!
Player X: NO!!! he tries playing duress in response to my time walk on my turn.
Magic Man: I'm like you cant do that Duress is a sorcery lol!!
Player X: continues playing, goes to his turn, and totally ignores anything I say lol.
Anyway I'll update this with his screen name if I see him again and can write it down.

First of all welcome to everyone here. I used to read this forum almost two or three times every week some moths ago and was tempted to post several times, but lately I've been a bit disconnected. But now since im on holiday I have more time  . I never read this topic before, and I found it just casually reading smmenen's 5c stax topic. But I thought I had something to post here, just to reinforce some theory posted a few pages ago:  I don't know this M. Solymossy in person, but I knew he used to post here and I found interesting to save this printscreen. I can't judge whether he is a good or bad player, or whether he is a good or bad person, or whatever. But he always whines and complains when he loses, as proved in several posts here, and that is something I can't stand in magic, IRL or via MWS. I can understand that losing is sometimes disgusting, and all of us need sometimes to talk about "that topdecked will in the last turn possible" or "those 6 flips lost to that damn mana crypt", but one person that always tries to find excuses (at least on MWS) for his lost matches has still a long way to do to become a complete good magic player. Learning to lose and if possible finding out the reasons beyond "luck" and similar things is always part of a serious and mature game. Nothing more to add here, and hope this post provides more help than anything else. Note that I ignored those "prick" references because they were just "annoying", like me. |

Okay now I'm having SERIOUS problems. I never in a million years play stax. It's just not my style of play. I am sorry you went through that, but I can 100% honestly tell you that wasn't me.
For everyone: I only use MWS to test decks for a tournament. That said, I only play Tezzeret builds or Combo.

This one is amazing:  What he tries to "say" in spanish is basically "son of a bitch" and "Spain is shit". No comment... I really thought this ELD was nicer... Unfortunately he was caught this time. And also it is not the first time I suffer his rage. Another "duplicant" maybe? Anyway, the nickname ELD is someone to avoid on MWS. |

I'm really happy that this thread exists. MWS is often so frustrating, and we really need a place to vent about it when things get ugly.
As for being insulting, Soly, the biggest insult there is that you're still using AOL's AIM client. Try pidgin. It's free and open source, and has no annoying ads.
