Actually, you have two MWS screens open.  If you look at Any of my screenshots, I show my whole screen, so you can see clearly that I'm not even trying to hide a second MWSConnect.

Like that would matter. Most of us are capable having nView or another desktop manager create multiple desktops.

I have nothing to hide.  That wasn't me!   Many people IMed me to ask if I was on MWS, and then I logged on and called the guy out, and he said he was from Minnisota (the M.Solymossy imposter).  Clearly,  I'm not from MN.

It's a term that's used quite frequently.  It basically means "enjoy your gifts, because you won't get them every game".   That said, it looks like he played terribly.

My interpretation is that the OP gets that, but not why he was accused of getting some sort of god-draw because he got some lock pieces playing his list.

How many more Unicorns must die???

I swear, half the people on mws have never played vintage before.

In the past 2 days, Ive played 3 people who must live under a rock

1. Guy plays brainstorm, cracks a dual, and then plays another brainstorm.  I let him know it was restricted, to which he claimed he didn't know, apologized and left to fix his deck.

2. I duress a player to find land, land, land, mox, mystical, thirst, thirst.  I let him know thirst is restricted (I already have Oath and an orchard out at this point, so i wasn't too worried).  When i tell him it's restricted, he starts telling me "no fucking way"  I let him know that i'm 100% sure of it.  He "checks" and returns to tell
me "sorry man, you're wrong" and he then quit.

3. My opponent opens turn 1. He plays mox emerald, mox ruby, mox ruby, mox ruby, Tolarian Academy.  nuff said

Sephiroth got pissed because I spell snared his Demonic Tutor.  He proceeded to rant and quit.

The I locked the Bomberman Combo turn 2 against "Rodolfo" who, according to MWS was playing a legacy deck under a room named "Vintage" (Hey that's what he gets).  He said it was an ifinite combo and under the new rules i couldnt win.  He told me to read the rules and promptly quit

watercat

All through our match all he did was complain about how bad vintage was, and how it took no skill, bla bla bla.
Our entire game, all he played was land and walls (I swear to god, that's all he played)  I quickly assembled vault/key, and he refused to scoop, after i explained that i would just get all my artifacts and turn them into dudes to swing.  He replied "But i have bloockers" and when i informed him i had 11 artifacts in the deck, he just said "I have blockers".  But all he had was 4 walls.  I then began playing it out, until i gathered 8 artifacts and got the classic "NOOB" <player lost>

Sepiroth encounters aren't really worth talking about, until he lurks in your 'new game' subscreen saying "play me pierce you fckn noob' and then proceeds to somehow leave an ip sitting there as roth, while having a new name appear.

How he did this, I dunno. I'm a vintage player, not a computer expert. But I played vs a "Michelangelo" that started the game off by saying he was happy I didn't play against Roth. I replied that Roth's a noob that's never beaten me, always plays some outdated storm list, and really isn't worth my time. Michelangelo replies something like "Roth is so good, one of the best combo players."

I'm suspicious. Who likes Roth? and then this guy opens on some dumb combo deck. Somewhere in there he plays a land from his yard in an attempt to have enough mana to kill me, and I call him out on it. He says "works vs non English speakers" then calls me a lucky n00b for assembling a turn two kill with steel city vault.

I've had enough at this point, and disconnect. In short, dumbass Roth randomly plays under 'Michelangelo' and can do this while having an IP as Roth too. Numerous things he did tipped me off, but i didn't save the game log.

I've been told via AIM that someone is impersonating me again on AIM.  Apparently, someone likes to make me look like more of an ass than I already do myself, but for those of you who play on MWS, if you play against M.Solymossy, it's 95% not me, considering I have played under an alias for about a month now.

I just searched tipo1.it, someone *did* post something similar http://www.tipo1.it/forum/viewtopic.php?t=999&start=873

He's obviously made the same mistake many times and this time, another Italian calls him on it.  So, Italy can't be *all* bad, right?

Any interest in putting together/maintaining a Github Git project that hosts proven decks of all major archetypes and documents their changes over time?

Thanks for posting that.

I hope the Italian people are relaxed, because I'm going to Milan tomorrow with Marske to play at EurOvino.

Hope to steel that Alpha Black Lotus from there.

If you want a serious game, avoid Col_Impact.  I dont think I've ever seen him play a competitive deck.

His decks are usually pretty effective.

Then again, I rarely play Tez/Vault (but have done SCV for last month).

But Col.Impact is far from newb or jerk.

I agree with this statement.  However, he was playing a BR-Painter deck, and I made a comment about how I don't understand how it was effective against Tezzeret or Combo (I was playing the GW Beatdown deck), and he flipped a gasket.

Lol, Mike, you were the one who started to "flip a gasket" when you lost.

Anyone who has ever played you online knows you "flip out" when you lose.

I guess the final part of your tirade was to come on here and try to tell people that I am not a "serious" player.

You really should try to learn and control your temper when you lose.

Anyway, I just split a 21 person in San Jose with that BR Painter deck so I doubt you could characterize it as "noobish" or "not serious."

Seriously, you just need to learn to chill when you lose and be a good sport and not go on a rant about how the deck that just beat you isn't competitive. Chilling is good. You will live longer.

Our online match helped me tune that deck so thanks for that.

Cheers.

That's just not true. Col_Impact is one of the few players I can count on for a good round of Vintage.

Ditto. Some of my most fun matches online have been vs col_impact. I remember testing out Tyrant Oath against him about a year ago for more than an hour, just playing vs several of his decks. The games were fun, the discussion was interesting and he was a competent pilot of several decks.

I've been playing as myself again, as I haven't seen any imposters in a couple weeks.  Anyways, this guy is an idiot...

kafel is back (FR) plays Chalice of the Void from Hand
kafel is back (FR) plays Mana Crypt from Hand
kafel is back (FR) taps Mana Crypt
kafel is back (FR) plays Sphere of Resistance from Hand
<M.Solymossy> wait
Mana Crypt's note changed: h=s
<M.Solymossy> chalice counters mana crypyt
<kafel is back (FR)> 0
<M.Solymossy> your chalice counters your mana crypt.
<kafel is back (FR)> look up
<kafel is back (FR)> i play crypt
<M.Solymossy> you played chalice first
<M.Solymossy> then crypt.
<kafel is back (FR)> after i play crypt
