Interesting. It looks to me like he's a non-native speaker, based on some of his sentence constructions ("go to the hell" "that done some many engineering stuffs" etc).

A quick check of the suspended DCI members list shows one non-American (a Brazilian) banned for Agressive Behavior in 2007, one of the few lifetime bans for that offense:

Although it is possible that instead it's the 2005 ban:

Those are the only two non-Americans that I saw who got lifetime bans for Aggressive Behavior in that time frame.

I didn't bother to look for his other convos, but there aren't that many Italian players with lifetime bans. Aside from tournament fraud, the only possibilities would be one of these two:

I've always had an inkling he might be Japanese/Pacific Rim, just by a couple of the strange word choices ("make me a hero") and by the fact that he's usually playing 9p-12midnight PST, which would make him being a Europlayer unlikely.

But who knows?  He's just an internet tough-guy who likes to annoy other people.  Case closed.

He is actually someone who is probably very cowardly in real life and would like to construct a persona on the internet that impresses or terrorizes people. Actually, Landstill is quite good at that. While having an atrocious Ichorid match-up, well played Landstill is a slight favorite against most decks, and it generally beats control decks.

My opening hand is 3 land, a mox emerald, bob, ancestral, and tinker

I'm on the play and lead with a turn 1 Bob, which resolves.  On his first turn, he duresses me, and takes my ancestral.  He then asks if I am new to type 1.  I tell him no.  He then starts saying how bad I am for not playing ancestral turn 1.  I tell him that Bob is better the earlier you can get him out, and in the long run, is likely to net me more cards than ancestral, and also is good counter bait.  I also tell him I was uncomfotable running out an unprotected ancestral.  He starts trashing me, and when my bob resolves a brainstorm, and I put an 6/6 sphinx into play, he flips his shit even more and quits.

He also mentioned Sephiroth, so maybe its the great one up to his tricks

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents since Sephiroth is such a tool and I've played many games against him.

1) I'm almost positive he's Italian, he'll occasionally make references to MtG sites and usually mentions an Italian site along with SCG and TMD.

2) He's not so good with his English, which is really apparent when he has to think of a come back.  One of his favorite come backs is "you are delusional", but misspelled.  It's pretty hilarious when a guy as loud and agressive as Sephiroth is silent for 30 seconds and then says that.

3) He will stack the deck.  Be sure to always check that it's T1 legal.  Sometime he'll start with a legal deck and then switch to a stacked deck for g2, g3, etc.  It's usually a storm combo deck that he does this with.  He also has a deck with 10 cards (or less, can't remember) that he tries to switch in, but that's pretty obvious to spot and catch.

4) If you beat him or refuse to play another game, he'll happily load up another deck, goldfish against you, tell you he beat you and then immediately quit.  Definitely some self esteem issues here.

5) He of course regularly switches user names and is especially fond of creating games or join notes with things like "<RANDOM_USER_NAME_HERE> = Sephiroth".
