+Mr. Nice Guy Games is one of the nicest stores I have ever been in. The prices are great and the owner buys at very fair and HIGHLY competitive prices. I would suggest if you have anything around you are looking to unload, bring it.. they will be buying and selling during the tournament.+

Also, it's a Saturday event.... that means a lot of us will probably go out after, if you need a place to crash let me know and I'll see what I can arrange. I hope to see a lot of faces at this one!

Hear, hear!

Maybe by this time I'll have a real job and a shot at making this tournament.

Man, I'm mulling over getting back into the game and they distort the format with restrictions and now I can't make a tournament due to a work conflict--I'm beginning to think someone's trying to tell me something...

Yeah, they're telling you to get back into Vintage.. Fresh restrictions, fresh start... this is a great time to get back in! Also, the tournament is over a month away; you should call in sick or take a vacation day.

priorities man, priorities!

I've been getting a good number of emails from players. It looks like we'll have a nice spattering of players from da Burgh' (as we locals refer to it), Ohio and possibly Michigan...
We're all starting to wonder if any of the Philly guys have the brass pair to compete on our home turf.... I imagine they will be to busy fighting about who's better, Gino's or Pats and talking about how this is gonna be the season for the Eagles!

Just got off the phone with Ron Kotwica. The second place prize has been announced! Ex+ Itl. Mana Drain!!! How great is that, especially with Slaver on the rise. This is going to be a great event. Just talking with Ron briefly, I can tell how pumped he is to be holding this... When Ron is excited, he doesn't pull punches. I am really excited for this one. Any lurkers on the boards planning on making the trip? Also, is anyone planning on chilling in the burg' after for a night of daubachery?

There is going to be an RIW Mox Sapphire tourney on the same day. RIW and Pittsburgh are about 5 hours apart. Is this going to effect attendance at all? I will be in Cleveland that weekend so I am committed to Pittsburgh tourney.

Go Browns!

I'm not sure how the RIW will effect attendance. At this point, it looks as though the Ohio crew and the Pittsburgh crew will be in PGH.. Personally, I'd think that would hurt the attendance of RIW... I'm sure if it were another day we would be heading there for sure.
(Aren't RIWS usually on Sunday?)

Anyway, this is getting closer and will be an awesome time. Someone had mentioned they were excited to get a Primantes Sandwhich after (Hopefully it doesn't get punched.)

Also, this will be a chance to take on the 2008 Vintage World Champion, Paul Mastriano (Congrats again!)... and being one of his close friends and teammates, I can say with confidence he's cooking up some serious tech that he may or may not be unveiling here......

The RIW event is Sunday the 31st. I was thinking that the 30th was a Sunday. My mistake.

I cannot wait for some Primanti Bros. I hear those sandwiches are the chrizzonic!

What's a vintage event without Nat Moes?...
You sir must come out for some cards and debauchery...

Is anyone coming from the Pittsburgh or surronding area? I believe Yare is back to school at this time, anyone else?

There will definitely be an Ohio contingent representing.  The question really is how many of us will be wearing Browns gear?

Wink

I'm looking forward to Primanti Brothers and some Type 4.  I have a feeling that a bunch of us will be monster trucking it to Twaun's in order to make the RIW festivities the following day.  Do you guys plan on doing so as well?

I'll be there.  IMO, playing the small tournaments is the secret to preparing for the big ones. We should have a pretty healty crowd out here in Pittsburgh and we'll have a great time afterwards, too.

RIW is on Sunday now?  that's pretty cool, I might have to hit that, too.

There's a pretty good shot we'll be driving to RIW on Sunday.

I can't wait for this tournament.  There's not a foot of snow on the ground to stop the Ohio folks from coming out.  This tournament is going to be savage.

No snow, check.
Tournament not canceled, check.

We Ohioans will venture forth into Pittsburgh adorned in our glorious Brown's attire.  I can't wait to have a bunch of Brown's fans walk into a Primanti Brothers for some post tournament action.

Oh, yeah, one more thing...we're bringing back that Mox to Cleveland.

You're both out of your skulls, the only border it's crossing is from the TO's case to the Pittsburgh crew's extra P-9 inventory.
